What a failure.
Between 2003 and 2018, if he were in the Western Conference all dem years, how many times would he have gotten out of the West?
Keep in mind he'd have to go thru your Spurs, my Lakers, the Blazers, Queens, and the Suns. My guess: 1 or 2 Finals appearances - if that.
So no, making it out of the East 8 times, with a fucking 3-5 record ain't impressive to me. :)

LakerTroll? That's rich, Faggs. :lol
But I'll play along. Cavs were gifted #1 New York Knicks or San Antonio Spurs style, then Darko went 2nd to Detroit. That leaves me with Denver selecting the Kang at #1 instead of Melo.
So he'd be in the Rocky Mountains for 15 years. How many Finals appearances does he have then? Actually in this scenario, he would have none (like Melo) and like it :lmao
FOH bragging on somebody getting out the putrid East. That's like a married man bragging that he got some pussy on his honeymoon :lmao

LkrTroll,
So now LeBron has to stay with the Nuggets his entire 16 years, and have no other star join the Nuggets?
Shaq left Orlando. Remember that?
MVPau was able to leave Memphis and hook up with Bynum, relatively sane Odum, and that okay almond headed role player along with the rigged reffing. Ya that's fair.
Dunker had GNob, Prime Parker etc.
This comparison that attempts to pigeon hole LeBron on the same Denver team for 16 years while other stars are free to move and/or have star talent added to them is a 1/10 troll attempt.

Boiled down, he was bailed out by Battier in 2012. Ray Ray bailed him out in 2013. Dr. Dray was suspended in 2016 (along with Bogut, their defensive anchor being hurt). And it was Killa Kyrie that hit the shot heard around the world that year - bailing him out a 3rd time (lucky bastid). Otherwise he's 0-8PERIOD. That's proof he couldn't hang in the West. :)

Boiled down for real:::
LeGOAT didn't need to be "bailed out" in 2012. The Heat won that series 4-1. It wasn't even close.
In 2013, LeGOAT scored 16 of the Heat's 30 fourth-quarter points in 6. He then made the series-winning shot in Game 7.
In 2016, LeGOAT led both teams in every statistical category and especially dominated the final three games. His block on Iguodala demoralized the Warriors.
Meanwhile, Kobe got bailed out repeatedly by Horry, Fisher, Stern, Artest, MVPau, etc.

There is truth to what you’re saying but whose fault is it that he couldn’t hold onto a solid nucleus? Gotta place some
blame on lebron for that too

Unless you are Curry (and even he starts to look human on the playoffs), if you are below 6'6'', you aren't really all that important.

:lmao Back to the Finals AGAIN without "Killa" Kyrie. Sorry Kyrie stans, your boy is a product of LeBron and Stevens. Without the GOAT player and GOAT coach holding his hand, he'd be a glorified Reggie Jackson.

Re: Lebron is missing Kyrie more than he’s letting on...
The last 3 minutes of the game is precisely why Boston needs a closer like Kyrie. They struggled with guys like Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier taking franchise player shots :lol

Re: Lebron is missing Kyrie more than he’s letting on...
Let's not forget that at age 33 Jordan and his Bulls had a 72-10 season and pulverized the league. Jordan was carrying the Bulls in 98 when Rodman had checked out mentally and Pippen's back was shot, and he was 35.
I would have never believed that someone could have made a legitimate case to defy him, and LeBron has. There isn't that much between the two. But I'd still pick Jordan.

Well replace Pippen with John Starks and replace Rodman with Eric Murdock and you'll have a better comparison for Lebron.
Still waiting for the "Boston had Kyrie and Gordon out and it still took Lebron 7 games" narrative.

Well he also defeated a pretty good Indiana and Utah team as well, and not rookie Tatum and 21 year old Brown. What Jordan did in 98 was just as heroic, at an even older age.
-
Re: Lebron is missing Kyrie more than he’s letting on...
:lol So apparently, Kyrie didn't attend Game 7. He's so salty and butthurt that neither team was missing his chucking and matador defense.
He needs to realize that, just like his idol Kobe, he will never be the alpha on a contender. He's just not good enough for that status.

Jordan gets the nod for giving a shit about the regular season. Lebron simply doesn't. He's part of a newer generation of players who believe getting to the playoffs is all that matters. Jordan had/has a massive ego, probably was/is a real prick to live with. I'd bet you cannot even play Monopoly with him without him trying to flex on you. Lebron is less into basketball from an ego standpoint. He's still there, but no one has ever, imo, been as OTT about it as Jordan. So the 72 win season didn't really need to be a 72 win season, and the Warriors won 73 games with no one remotely close to Jordan's abilities. I'd say they didn't even have a Pippen level player. They just had out of this world shooting and good basketball all around.
Also, Jordan's Bulls probably couldn't hang with today's teams that take 40 3pt shots a game. A 20pt deficit in Jordan's day meant you're in garbage time in the middle of the 3rd. Today, you'd need almost 40 to be there because teams can make 20-0 runs in just a couple minutes. This is what Lebron has to contend with yet he plays more to the rim than from the arc.
So it's not really a good comparison between the two, but they definitely stand up there atop the pile.

I will respectfully disagree. The reason why the MJ v. LBJ argument took center stage this season in the media was due to LeBron deciding he wanted to play every game and being the MVP front-runner at 33 for about 2-3 solid months at the beginning of the season. He went through a mini-slump in mid-January to February when I guess he needed to force management to retool the roster. But we'd never be having this argument if LeBron hadn't played much of this season with a focus and determination reminiscent of Jordan.
In addition, LeBron's entire argument on this debate relies on the longevity brought by playing more regular seasons. We know he ain't never breaking the 6 for 6 with 6 Finals MVP peak playoffs argument for MJ or the average per game scoring rates or average PER and WS/48 statistics. He is already behind and those averages will decrease as gets older and the lesser years begin to reduce the numbers. LeBron has to do it through an accumulation of total statistics that are mostly reliant on the regular season.
So no, I think LeBron both cares and actually needs to care for the regular season to eventually be able to win this argument. 20 spring games every season are too little of a sample to judge and it's not like he will win that argument either.

This year, their best player missed the entire first round of the playoffs. And Durbeta straight-up choked a few games against Houston, otherwise they wrap that series up in 5. They're still the most stacked team in the league and it's not even close... light years ahead of the Cavs' roster with or without Kyrie.

Speaking of things you can't :downspin::
- The Cavs were down 0-3 last year with Kyrie just like they are now without him.
- The Cavs replaced Kyrie with George Hill and still made the Finals.
- The Celtics were one win away from the Finals without Kyrie.
- Kyrie has yet to even make the playoffs without LeBron (the GOAT player) or Stevens (the GOAT coach) holding his hand.
Sorry, but this thread was an L for you and the other "Kyrie" (Kobe) stans the moment the ECF matchup turned out to be Cavs vs. Celtics. Everything since then has been a desperate attempt to save face on your shitty take.
