Re: White Fractures Wrist
With so many PGs, the Spurs still may not have enough.

that's four players out. Isn't that how many a team needs to get a temporary spot if they apply/?

Re: White Fractures Wrist
I saw him get injured and not return to thatAustin game but never thought it would be this serious.

Re: White Fractures Wrist
Wow. The PG situation gets better and better.
Also, been meaning to ask, I love Brandon Paul so far, but I thought he's played some PG before earlier in his career? I haven't seen him dribble much in the NBA so far. He's lost his handle on the ball a few times when he's tried. Is he actually an OK ball handler? Anyone know how his dribbling skills are?
Could he possibly play some PG if needed?

Re: White Fractures Wrist
That's it...bench Kawhi for the year and tank for #1 pick

Four missing at least three games. But you'd think it would make more sense to have exceptions for two-way players over exceptions.

Re: White Fractures Wrist
This hurts the Austin spurs(now) because he would have a been a primary/rotational player. It hurts the big club because it will set back his development for the long term. He needed reps. Pulling for a quick recovery.

Re: White Fractures Wrist
Not sure how we are going to survive without a guy who has played a whopping 21 combined minutes so far this season.
-
Re: White Fractures Wrist
What do you expect? He's like 36.
-
Re: White Fractures Wrist
Lol he wasn't going to get any significant playing time this year anyways. This changes nothing for the Spurs.

Re: White Fractures Wrist
I alsays confuse paul with white
Got scared for a minute

Yeah his dribbling could use some work but when kawhi comes back paul would just need to bring the ball up court and give it to kawhi/aldridge. BP3 has so far been a better shooter and defender out of all the PGs, thats all the spurs need with kawhi and aldridge being the focal points on offense. I think he's a great fit imo

Re: White Fractures Wrist
Sad news. In his rookie season. Having a lot of expectations and dreams...GWS, Derrick.

Re: White Fractures Wrist
Hopefully not a James Anderson situation but he should be fine. Anderson was the foot...

Re: White Fractures Wrist
even while injured he's still a better shooter than patty

I'd say more like Tony Parker penetration + Derrick Rose athleticsm + Steve Nash shooting ability hybrid. Dude is freakishly talented and gifted. And he has as great of a guy as anyone can learn from in Patty Mills.

I agree with everything you've said, but it's just that I thought he's also supposed to be a decent ball handler, but I just haven't seen that yet. That's why I was asking people that may have seen him play more if that is true.
I'm pretty happy with the rest of his game so far, though. Right now Brandon Paul and Rudy Gay are the only two players I enjoy watching on a nightly basis. I like the type of basketball they're playing.
Aldridge is playing well too, but I don't like his style of play too much. I'd like to see him be more dominant and physical down low on a consistent basis.

Re: White Fractures Wrist
Sucks that our 13th man went down. What'll we do now?

Good news is that it won’t require surgery
