Far from true... Murray was a steady hand and our best times were when he was in... When they brought in Mills, the hawks usually went on runs... Murray plays good defense, and opposing point guards usually don't make a point of going at him since they won't find much success... With mills in, they take advantage...

hey, I am all for more playing time for Murray instead of Mills ... I was just mentioning that the visible impact from the start of the season is missing ...

He also hates Anderson. Going to be tough when he gets paid
Blue font bc I don’t know if Spurs will work it out to retain Anderson. Hopefully they do, but one never knows.
I like what Kyle has done this season so far, tbh

An interview Kyle gave brings to memory how JSimms expressed he couldn't play well if he didn't fully have Pop's trust and would be pulled quickly.

"I guess you get that leeway," Anderson said. "You're a little bit more open to try different things and take that risk. It's obviously tougher playing when you know you have someone coming to get you if you do mess up."
The reporter contrasted how different he looked from last year, when he also started games early in the season bc Danny Green was injured but was a non-factor.

"I'm just trying to play well enough to I can stay on the floor," Anderson said. "I don't want to go back to not playing."

"Everybody has a role, and we will play the people that deserve the minutes," Popovich said. "So far, (Anderson) has had a really good season and been real important. So hopefully that will continue throughout the year."

So why do ppl call me a shit poster when I say the same thing these players say themselves? Players play better when they don't feel like they will get pulled for making a mistake! They get more aggressive and they get more comfortable! But u look to bench them after every mistake, the next time they play, they will just go through the motions so they don't get pulled... Pop isn't perfect... It's ok to point out his faults

Mainly because you spam the board with threads on topic already being discussed in other threads. You have unpopular takes and sometimes seem to not understand how the team works. But we can agree to disagree with a lot of opinions so long as you don't try to make an annoyingly big platform for yourself.

legend. 40 years old with the body but not the heart.
Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs. Hawks -- Mon. (11/20) - 7:30/C (3:30am Riga Time)
Yea.. he's legend. In the past that layup at the end would have been a dunk I am guessing. Glad to see him play this well. He's still very important to the team and I think his mental toughness can help a team that is developing right now as a younger team. (Spurs still are a veteran team, featuring their old dudes, but due to injuries, now more than at any time recently I think, are increasingly relying on their youth). Manu is resilient... after that bad start against OKC he pulled it together the rest of that same game and showed up here. Glad to see, and a lot to learn from.
