Game Thread: Spurs @ Hornets -- Sat. (11/25) - 6:00/C (2:00am Riga Time)
Back at in Charlotte tonight after a 2-day break to take on the 8-10 Hornets who are playing on a b2b, having lost a tough one last night to the Cavs by 1-point. We're well-rested and they should be tired, no excuses for us not to beat them on the road. Let's get it.

Re: Game Thread: Spurs @ Hornets -- Sat. (11/25) - 6:00/C (2:00am Riga Time)
Hornets are only 8-10 overall but 7-2 at home and Batum is back. Typical trap game.
-

As long as 50Mills dont let the other PGs go nuts we should win this easily :flag:

Good point. Hopefully their guys logging some heavy minutes last night will help though. Kemba and MKG played almost 40 minutes each, the rest of their core guys all over 30 minutes.

Expect those faggots raybies and bklynspurmsfan to fluff up PATFO for building a team that can go toe-to-toe with the Hornets

Hornets are an easy team to beat, tbh.

If the Spurs could have one person get hot from three they could prolly win. If it's this close at the end they have no chance, however.

No chance? I'd be happy if it's close. Seem to be better in closer games vs having a lead

Kemba Walker will destroy the Spurs if it's close per par.

Meh. Last game vs us, he had 13 points on 12 shots. He's sitting on 5 now on 4 attempts. Our guys are defending well. He's not as scary as you're making him out to be tbh, especially if we're executing defensively

In a close game he's been one of the Spurs' scariest opponents. They've been lucky in the past since Parker has roasted Charlotte just as often.

The Hornets are my home team so I watch a lot of their games. You overrate Kemba. Kemba is a chucker who shoots horrible percentages. He's definitely not someone to fear in a close game considering the Hornets have lost a bunch of close games with him missing the game tying or game wining shot this season and in past seasons. He tends to miss shots in the clutch when guarded by taller defenders.

I'm talking strictly against the Spurs, and I've seen him hit tough shot after tough shot in close games against the Spurs. Difference in the past is the Spurs had Parker and, more recently, Kawhi to do so as well. Not so tonight.

Idk about one of the scariest. I know the guy is talented, but that's not a Curry/Harden type player of there. He can be slowed, and has been in the 6 quarters we've played then this season, without our best defender.

ppl dont realize murray actually plays good defense, and his length bothers opposing point guards

Patty with the hustle and the three! Nice.
-
Re: Game Thread: Spurs @ Hornets -- Sat. (11/25) - 6:00/C (2:00am Riga Time)
Patty's shooting has been down, but he seems improved in terms of running the sets out there and his delivery on some of those passes.. also keeping his dribble alive in traffic as well, seems like something no one else does on this team.
