Gasol will prove firing coach was a no brainer. And after the stumping last game, Memphis will be fired up. Aldridge proving 41 was not a fluke. It should be an interesting game.

Should be a tricky one..
It is not easy to sweep the home-and-home set in regular season, much less against a team with the current desperation of this Memphis squad. Don't think the Spurs survive if the Grizzlies fluke 3 point shooting continues against them.

Lol at anyone in the media bringing up Lebron to SA. I like Lebron, but there is no way he would ever play here. Pop would never let him get away with the shit he has with CLE/MIA. Lebron is bigger than those teams, he is the most iconic player in the game, and Pop is not going to let someone have reigns over the organization like that and Lebron knows it. i think he respects SA/Pop but he will never fall in line and play under a system, he will always be bigger than whatever team he is on.

I hope more of our guys play well this game so we don't have to rely on LMA to put us on his back again. We need to play better D and rebound much better tonight - especially on the defensive boards. Grizz got far too many O-boards on Wednesday.

I don't know where you were going.. but already this team appeared to not be big enough for Kawhi MVP and Lamarcus. See what I did there?
I have seen guys like Chris Bosh attest to how difficult it was for him to adjust, and not given enough credit. Love struggled equally. Kyrie was tired of Lebron's shadow.
It's rare to have stars who complement each other so well that infighting doesn't become an issue. I'd say Tim/Tony/Manu were a complement, GSW guys also complement each other very well. There have been others, typically legendary teams like the Celtics and Lakers of old... but to have a group like that is similar to lightning in a bottle and usually involves stars at different spots who complement each others' games so well that chemistry doesn't become a problem.
Eagerly awaiting to see how Kiwi and Lamarcus look together after this chat with Pop.

This is where Pop has to do IT. Time to live up to your aura: Bring LMA and Kawhi together in harmony and working at maximum efficiency.
I... man, I love Pop, having been a witness to Tark the Shark, that guy Redd McCombs hired from a crackhouse and that other dude that never got a real coaching job afterwards, trying to pathetically ruin David Robinson's career through the 90's, BUT- but... I'm hoping he can keep it up when Kawhi returns. Maybe eventually work into a Kobe/MVPau-esque two-man game with Kawhi running the offense most of the time when he's fully back in the swing of things.

Defense has been great; if Memphis shoots how they normally do there'll be no problems on that end. Issue right now is offense but they seem to be finding a rythym on that end.

LMA playing at the level he is should help. Also, the sooner he's given the ball to set up the offense and make plays, the better it'll be for the team in the long run. A lot of looks are going to open up for everyone else with defenses focusing on these guys.

I think he thought TP was going to shoot it and ran to rebound, and TP didn't realize he wasn't throwing it to Forbes or Green lol.
TP plays pretty well off the ball tho imo tho. As he's gotten older he's gotten a bit better in that area. He was really good with back door cuts, getting fed from TD and sometimes Pau.

I am going to take it easy on him, he's just coming back and it will take him time to establish rhythm... Pop has let everyone else struggle through their issues and they have improved. You may see me make a comment on Tony here or there, but for him to sometimes not have chemistry is expected.
