Another close one the Spurs won ... they are clutch ... but you wonder how they pulled it off with all these turnovers and the numer of second chance points they gave Portland
I feel better with Murray defending all these PGs out there, but he is losing the ball way too much ...

Spurs have been pretty good at getting buckets at the end of quarters/halves in close games this season that have made the difference. Dangerous way to live but any win the team can get until everyone is healthy is a good win.

The defense was much better than the stats would indicate. Giving up that many points off turnovers is usually more about bad offense than bad defense.

It is a pretty bad call, especially if you take human reaction time into account: once a ref notices a player has been in for 3 seconds it still takes a couple of tenths to actually blow the whistle.

If only Lamarcus had made both FT to end the game.. you would have been right on the money.
Spurs win 93-91 in one of CJ McCollum's worst games of his career... (Thanks for that jinx ElNono)

Yeah typically a 3-second call is more of a 5-second call, because the ref has to actually notice someone camping out before they'll start their three count.
Even if this ref started counting the moment LMA's toe touches the paint, I still don't think it's a full three seconds. If they called it like that all the time, there would be technical on every possession.
