Game Thread: Spurs @ Kings -- Sat. (12/23) - 9:00/C (5:00am Riga Time)

Late one tonight as we take on an 11-20 Kings team who have won 3 of their last 5, but all against teams with losing records (Suns, Sixers, Nets). Chance for us to rebound after a poor showing in Oakland on Thursday. Kawhi is expected to play tonight, but Tony and Pau are listed as Questionable. No reason we shouldn't win this one regardless. Let's get it.

UPDATED #Spurs injury report from this morning's shootaround: Green (groin) downgraded to out, Leonard (quad) downgraded to questionable, Gasol (groin) upgraded to probable. Spurs spokesman noted could be more changes tonight.

Why was he cleared to play to begin with if he can't play 20 minutes between rest days two weeks after his return?

Just shut him down for the rest of the season..Not worth it..This China doll smh..

Can we take Hill with us after the game, tbh?

That's really a drag that Kawhi is injured again. What's wrong with him, did he reinjure the quad?

After a few weeks, he's not only still on a 15-20 mpg limit, but now unable to play unless there's multiple days between games . . . barring a drastic turnaround relatively soon, it feels like we're headed for him being shutdown for the season at some point.

As long as there's a guarantee of him returning to form, I'd take it over this. In a sport of rhythm, you can't attain it with a rotation in a constant state of flux.

The Spurs should have Kawhi with the G-league team, or just shut him down till February or March.

Does Kawhi need to just go on and have surgery?
