It is actually one of the most underrated moves of the off season. Guys like Milsap and Griffin got way more money. Even Ibaka got really good money for what he offers. If we don't reup him, we lose him. Besides if we really wanted him out, he has little trade value going into a player option. So we even created trade value. Heck, it worked out. I liked the old way where ballots were only cast at the games. It was like a small reward for actually going to the game. Of course there were homer votes, but not the ridiculous spam voting casuals get away with now, especially national players.
I do think the game is for the fans, but the correct players deserve to go.
