Who will get the night off tonight?
:blah :blah
Haha, yeah. Its awesome to have this problem. I say Timmy and Bruce.
Just FYI - the game starts at 7pm -- not 7:30.
I wish Finley and Van Exel can play better today.
Go Spurs! Kick some Pacer ASS! :fro
All right... Piston is really with us tonight! = )
Spurs=good life
go spurs!
you can do it
Why am I the only one not excited about a preseason game. :|

Marks is on the radio now.
He went to the football game with Timmy.

PHI vs NYK and DAL vs DET are looking like very serious games.
I hope we get the same from Spurs/Pop tonight.
Without Tim and Jermaine O'Neal, it probably won't be that serious.
my vbookie on marks looks real good with timmy not playing tonight, who else bet on marks?
Oberto isn't playing tonight either (per PJ).
Is he still hurt?Quote:

Hey Kori, I bet on Tim for the highest scorer, but he's not playing, does that mean we get the Vbookie money back?
yep, Tony looks relaxed, confident, very crisp passing, very aggressive driving, definitely the leader.
Horry first off bench for Marks at 6 min. mark.
Manu for a rt. wing 3 over Artest from Horry.
Tinsley is trying... but not coming up with anything... Parker is trying... and is tearing it up
TP off the break perfect pass to Bowen running left wing!!!!
18-11
Horry from TP off screen to Horry airball 3 miss.
Rasho bothering shots
Now Finley comes in for Bowen.
Nazr came in with Fin and replaced Rasho.
Nazr rolls off screen for TP and he hesitates on baseline j, then backs in and is short on shot.
Jack fouls TP on TP's dribble drive. TP can't hit 1st FT though. HIts 2nd.
Granger in for Indy. Fin guarding Artest and fouls him on the drive.
Timeout 19-11 Spurs.
I have been wondering how Granger is gonna fair on Finley... we'll see in a few minutes!
Whaaa....? Did the announcer just say something about having to decide whether to start Manu or Finley? I thought Finley was told before he signed that he would be back-up?
Carie
trust me, Manu will start unless injuryQuote:

Artest converts FTs.
Van Exel in for TP. Nazr upfakes on hook then bricks it. He should have just hooked it in on first move.
Nazr climbs Granger's back. 2 FTs Granger.
19-14
Gino off screen from Horry dunks it with Artest on him!!!
Bender dunks at other end.
It's not like there's a lot of deciding to do even if that was the case. I'd just write it off as the Pacers announcers being idiots.
Finley misses lane fade j. Nazr on their backs again with a foul. :( Quit pushing Nazr.
Jasikevicius in. Gino for 3 from top, short reb. Nazr.
Nick to Horry long three, long. Granger misses 3.
Nazr from Horry, fakes fakes fakes, fouled. Comeon Nazr just go up and dunk it.
2 FTs good by Nazr. 23-18. 49.7 sec left in 1st
Did Ginobili just play the entire first quarter? What happened to limiting his minutes, especially in the meaningless preseason?
Van Exel rt. wing 3, no good.
Fred Jones of Pacers over Nick, miss at buzzer. 23-18.

Timmy not playing means no vbookie for me.. there goes my grand...:(
Hopefully the spurs can win tonight at least!
Go spurs go!:D
PJ said Manu needs more work to get in shape. Made a joking comment about it in pre-game radio interview. Maybe that's why Manu played so long.Quote:

Finley baseline turnaround fade from 12 yes!
Bender cuts underneath and gets pass for reverse between Sanders and Nazr on juggled ball.
Finley nice upfake draws baseline foul. 2 FTs good by Fin 29-22.
Ughhh, Nazr is still painful to watch. I don't think it's a good thing when you wince every time a player touches the ball.
Bender posts up quickly on Nazr spin move rollllssss in, and 1. FT good 29-25
Marks back in.
Fin to Marks high lo to Nazr misses reverse, then travels after he reb. own shot. :(
Nazr bothers shot and blocks. Fin for 3, no good, ball o/b off Nazr fighting for reb. control. Timeout.

Granger fed inside and travels on good D by Ford.
TP initiates offense. Manu fouled off 2-man game. Timeout.
Announcers are saying the Spurs may not keep any of Ford or Sanders or Graham and just go with 13 players. (Al Albert and Quinn Buckner announcing)
Granger off a switch. Late switch.Quote:

Saras off hi lo screen roll to Granger, sweet footwork around Marks and scores with 2 sec. left. 37-39 Indy at the Half.
You're doing an awesome job Solid. You're better than those commentators on the channel itself...
I've reallly surprised the way Bender's playing. Never heard of him till tonight. And he's really great!
Spurs score 14 pts in 2nd qtr.
both teams shooting shitty, esp 3Gs
Det/Dal much better game.
Thanks.
The Spurs were in a 2-3 matchup zone there at the end and they were doubling the ball at the top (Saras) with Manu and Sanders. The Spurs aren't moving quickly enough when Saras feeds it over the top to the roll man down the lane. Right in the seam of the zone.
Any thoughts or observations on Granger? I'm very anxious to see him play.
You are not alone... JB was a number 5 pick... he has had horrible injury problems over the last 6 years... he only played 15 games last year... but the kid is the truth... if he stays healthy... look out!Quote:

Tinsley drives and kicks to no one, Barry breakaway dunk! 50-45.
He is gonna see a lot of minutes... more than you would expect from a 2nd unit rookie... our staff loves him... Artest is calling him a future all-star... he says Granger is the only guy he would give his starting spot up for...Quote:
