With the USC game, and all the success Texas is having recruiting California, I am starting to question my negative feelings on joining the Pac 12.

On the one had travel and time zone differences are going to be a bitch, but if we can successfully recruit California and get top Cali kids, plus going to cities like Seattle, Phoenix, LA, Boulder, SLC, and the Bay area makes joining real appealing.

I'm glad I don't have to make this decision.

Right now, I want Texas to join the B1G, but the appeal of California recruiting is greater than recruiting the Northeast.

Texas joining the PAC12 is prolly never going to happen. The lack of support for football in that conference from the fans is lackluster at best. It wouldn't surprise me if the Big 12 looks into poaching a couple teams from there (Arizona Schools) to get us back to 12 team conference. It will be interesting to see how things shape up when the time comes in a few years for changes.

RB Tre Watson told OrangeBloods he will arrive in Austin no later than next week.

There is supposedly a legit financial reason for this, and there's likely a precedent out there, but I don't recall seeing it before.

EJ CBd 2020 OT Chad Lindberg (League City, TX) to Texas. I believe IT had mentioned that his older brother was enrolled at Texas academically.

-ATH Jake Smith of Scottsdale, AZ will be officially visiting UT this weekend and he's the lone visitor.

-certain staff members will be at the St. Louis satellite camp today, and the others in Boca Raton and Marshall (TX) tomorrow.
