Re: 2019 Texas Longhorns Recruiting Thread
CB Marques Caldwell of Alvin told 24/7 he is "iffy" about his commitment to Oregon and he is leaning towards UT at this time.

Who do you guys think will be our next 3 commitments? I'm thinking we get Cain, Smith and Gbenga

Not sure about a third, but Caldwell should drop anytime now and Smith next weekend, unless he wants to get it out of the way before arriving in Austin for his official.

Oline is generally late bloomers, I think you will see much more oline offers go out as next season draws to an end.

Several of the top-tier WR targets didn't go UT's way for one reason or another, so you're seeing more offers go out at that position and the staff is having to cast a wider net.
It's not necessarily a bad thing if you're working with a smaller group of offers.
Missing out on Wilson really bummed me out. Now Higgins possibly as well. So we just seem to be tossing offers out at WR. Wilson looked really, really good. Like the best good. He made Card look good on some of his throws.

Like “we can get other guys to join us”?
Or, Coach Hand is A+ so we are very excited?

Possibly all of it.
There are several months and a season to go, but everyone should feel good about the original OL targets as long as the staff isn't shifting their focus elsewhere.
Landing arguably the best OL prospect in Texas on Friday definitely doesn't hurt.

Re: 2019 Texas Longhorns Recruiting Thread
I don’t know what I’m thinking.
WE gotta actually win.
No Maryland, TCU, Tech disasters with a bunch of close calls that could go either way.
We need to put the wood to Maryland first game.

Per The Football Brainiacs, Texas could be receiving good news from WR Jaylen Ellis of Round Rock Cedar Ridge "very, very soon."
He's wanted a UT offer for a long time.

Orangebloods saying that Smith to Texas isn’t as locked as some may think.

At least Suchomel said he's still predicting Texas.
The 24/7 USC guys don't feel good on Smith.

Sounds like click bait. Much like Nana was still seriously considering Texas.
