How does he still give us performances like these at his age, tbh? He can look finished for weeks, but still makes the biggest plays when the pressure is on..

Imagine his prime. :wow
If just one of him or Tony were still in even their post-prime, the team would have something.
And if he got even a remotely decent pass from LMA at the end of regulation, this game wouldn’t have gone to OT.
Last few glimpses of his unique competitive spirit, tbh...
but could we bump the thread? No, so he's still a scrub.
At the beginning of the game I was calling him finished for shooting a 3 with no legs at all :lol
:bobo Got to recognize greatness.
BTW, Spurs weren't going to tank with Grandpa Juice in the team.
I thought it would be Tony stepping up like this tonight after he called out Kawhi in front of the world, tbh..
There's no need to throw shade at anyone. Everyone but Aldridge is inconsistent enough that different people have stepped up on different nights. (Hopefully at least Rudy gets consistent bc the team needs him)...
But anyways the point is that there will probably be opportunities for others to also step up.... Whether they do or not still to be seen. I hope Grandpa Juice isn't the only one who still got it.
He can’t do it every game, but every 8-10 games he gives us one of those vintage Manu games. Gonna suck when he retires at the end of the season and it’s Kawhi’s fault he won’t go out on top.
Its pretty amazing tbh. My brother in law and I went to the Spurs/Lakers game this year (hes a lakers fan) and we both commented on how amazing it is that he is still competing like this, taking charges, etc at his age. Remarkable dude.
:toast
if kidd had decided to sign here the spurs would’ve had prime kidd, prime manu, prime timmy...
dude is so special
my all time fav spur. we are so lucky to have him.
i love how awesome the Argentinian fans have been this year. it'll never be the same once he's gone :(
I love how he can miss every shot but when they really need one he seems to pull a shot or play out of nowhere. Amazing he can still do it at 40. I'm going to enjoy watching him play for these last few games because I really see him retiring at the end of the season. He seems really frustrated and exhausted with the season.
To bad David Robinson stopped talking to him citing Deuteronomy 23:1
It’s been amazing watching Ginobili, he looks like he can still play one more year tbh.
hardly unexpected from the most all around skilled player of all times
What a contrast with our egotistical egomaniac “star” bench warmer Kawhi Leonard tbh.
Legend. Alpha. Never be another Manu.
Meh shooting 3pt shot at 31 percent at 40 percent of his shot selection,WOOOO,fanboys are blind lol
Team needs to dump him
i would have loved to see him get the chance to lead a team like Harden back in 2005 when he was super manu
have never seen a player compete harder other then MJ & KG
I prefer Manu to Harden also but im not sure manu was more athletic....without a doubt he was more clutch & a better defender
i also think he was a better passser although Harden runs the p&r just as good if not better.
tbh the way he competed was at an MJ level....what stats do you think super manu (05) would put up in todays league leading a team?
Duncan then Manu.
Both have also failed to put some very important games away but they never gave up. And neither afraid to look bad helping the team. Both had the guts to look very bad on some nights. Can't understate this character in an NBA where a guy gets posterized and feels like a fool after the game even though the team gets a win. The player only remembers that he looked bad. " I'm not gonna try to block that because I got my rep..." BS . Just play the game for your team.
People also forget that Manu's ankles were torn up as well.
He goes down as the 3rd or 4th all time great Spur.
Duncan
Robinson
Manu/ Gervin
These 4 jerseys before all the others IMO.
And to think some morons on here were trying to anoint Crybaby Kawhi as a greater Spur than Manu based on their current bodies of work. It’s really disgusting when you think about it. Manu is 10 times the player that egomaniac is.
Based on his back-to-back DPOY seasons, Finals MVP, and top 3 MVP votes for two seasons... Yes, Kawhi is the 3rd best Spur. I agree it's harder to say that after this season, but it doesn't negate it.
I think your right....I just watched a collection of prime Manu bodying big men & blocking KD, dunking on Yao, Okafor etc....
Harden is still athletic but he's never dunked on 3 Lakers at once
curious what you think his numbers would be as a no.1?
as for Kawhi ...He's has had better individual seasons then anything Manu has done other then 05
Manu was THE REAL 05 Finals MVP, tbh. TD should've conceded it to him.
"Kawhi homer"? What the fuck does that even mean? I've been a Spurs fan since the 90s. I agree Manu's body of work is better, but in terms of peak performance I give the edge to Kawhi.
Well then that reveals your bias, which pretty much invalidates your opinion on this topic. :lol Dumbass.
I could agree to that.
manu had a played great against the lakers when they had payton and malone. it was a RS game that TD sat out. spurs lost but manu was competitive as fuck.
What a leader, tbh... still clutch as hell too, winning us games at 40 y/o
:lol
Manu is just so damn greatness.
Why isn't there a statue of this legend outside AT&T already?
The greatest International guard of all-time, tbh..that bald spot is up there with Jordan's jumpman and the Jerry West logo..
He will fight to the end, tbh... good or bad...
Great game tonight :tu
Gonna miss Manu as much as I do Timmy when he hangs them up.
HOF player doing HOF things
^Manichael Jornobili
Manu forever.
The Spurs should offer the SuperMax to . . .
Manu.
:flag:
But the old guy can't comment of that young quiter Kawhi cuz he's the future of the franchise. Lol

Hes dumb. New nba fan
And that doesn't even have the blocks nor the acrobatic layups. There's one against Utah (I think), where he does an eurostep, jumps showing the ball up, then double clutches on the air to go underneath the defense to finish with reverse english. I've never seen that shit before.
What Harden has is that he's deceptively quick, great finisher in the paint, gets to the line constantly and is a very high % FT shooter, can hit the 3 at a better than average clip and has good court awareness. He can't defend for shit, but that's about all he cannot do. He's yet to put any of that to work in the post season and make it count. Seems to fold there. Manu has a lot of great playoffs under his belt, along with some real turds. Harden just has turds.
Manus' Team Argentina beat Team USA,.......
Period. End of story.
The best guard of his generation, not even close (sorry Kobe)
Best player on the best team in the world for over a decade. Pretty amazing when you think about it tbh...and still killing it at 40 years old while the much younger Porker has been benched for scrubs and Kawhi refuses to play.
