And there are people around here still complaining about Manu's veteran minimum contract.
He may only be able to do it in spurts, but he is still one of the best deals in the league right now.

How close was Manu to actually [playing for Philadelphia]?
Woj: There was a night, maybe more than one night, where you went to be thinking, “we’re getting him.”
Brett: No doubt, you know? And because it was sorta confirmed.
The dunk over Yao Ming is really underappreciated... mother of god.
fuck harden, anyone who takes him over manu is a retard
:lol @ chubby choker more athletic than manu in his prime
Personally, some of Manu's blocks are more impressive than his dunks.
Like Monty Python's Black Knight, Manu plays like his age "tis but a scratch"
One more for the reels...

"Right now you're not #1, you're #2!"
Just think what Manu's stats would be like if he hadn't sacrificed being a starter for the good of the team. Twenty years ago teams were still playing starters at least 30 minutes every game. Pop hadn't begun to rest players and control their minutes like he has over the last few seasons.
Frankly, Manu's magical way of playing was much more entertaining that Jordan. Jordan was a great player and very methodical, but didn't have as many "did you see that shit?" moments as an all around player.
I'm more interested in imagining what his stats would look like if he was in his prime on today's NBA, tbh. His style of play is just perfect for the way the game is being playing right now. Case in point: Manu 0.2, AKA: James Harden.
For the Spurs, he would be a better offensive option than Aldridge, imho.
Love him.
LOL buncha delusional manures in here....
Shooting career lows in percentages, points etc,yet a good game outta every5 or 6 and he's MJ caliber.
Dude is just like Tony, too much money and past his prime except Manu has been a boat anchor for longer
This guy is magic!
If he keeps going he'll pass Tony on my all time Spurs list. Unbelievable what he is doing at his age. Insane...
He is averaging 8.8 points and shooting 43.6 percent, numbers that are up from last season.
