I know Ariza played bad in game 7, but he was a key part of their team and his length covered up for the poor (harden) or short (cp3) defenders. Though skinny his length/quick feet allowed him to switch 1-5. He will be misseed much more than Mtue.

As many have pointed out Melo probably gonna start because the other options are not much better.
Ryan is horrid on defense and has lost confidence in his shot (Melo is not good on D either but at least he is strong)
Green can score too and is quicker but also sucks on defense and is slight of build.
I get Melo would ruin things if he pouted on the bench, but who else is gonna start over him?
