Quote:
In the 48-district battleground of Republican-held seats, Democrats lead Republicans by 4 points on the generic congressional ballot, 46 – 42 percent.
Not good news considering the generic ballot historically over estimates Dem support by at least 6-8 points, last 2 midterms it was off by double digits.

I think some change is coming up from the grassroots. Democratic fundraising success seems to hinge on NOT taking PAC money. That is a hopeful sign.
Dunno. BETO 2018 seems to be doing well, and polling within single digits of Cruz, who will still likely win, but not by as wide a margin as he would like.

Well, they could have attempted to fix it themselves. Instead they doubled down.

Re: Republicans are seen as the party of corruption.
The whole not-taking-PAC-money thing is a very expensive PR slogan and I'm not sure it's worth it in the long run.

The entire political / judicial class is corrupt, for sale, and the oligarchy is the dominant purchaser.
It's so pervasive that it's beyond remediation, is irreversible, unstoppable
... Is why America is fucked and unfuckable

Why this?
I am merely pointing out that assuming both parties are equal in anything requires some evidence and reasoning to support. I happen to think they are not equal, given what I have seen.

It is, if the argument is over who is covered in more dogshit.
I take a great deal of issue with people who can't be bothered to actually figure out if the parties are, in fact, equal, but do the lazy heuristic of assuming they are.
I will never pretend that the Democrats do not have corruption or even bad policies. They do.
But are they equally as bad as the Republicans? Not by a long shot.
How would you determine which is better overall, by whatever metric you want to pick?

The false equivalence forcefield seeks to negate the impact of actions. It's also very 3rd grade "But he did it first/ more!"

Re: Republicans are seen as the party of corruption.
You posted an asinine OP. Own it.

??
Does it really? How exactly, because I am really not seeing your point here. (confused)

Re: Republicans are seen as the party of corruption.
Really? You posted a poor O P which was immediately rejected out to half-court. A counter argument was inserted and your response was equally. What's the purpose of this response if not to deflect the counter?
Pretty simple to see imo.

It is pretty simple, unless, of course, you are uncomfortable with the conclusion, and want to tap dance about the subject.
I posted a brief sniglet of data that I thought was interesting, i.e. that perception among independents was growing more negative towards the GOP, and have merely responded to what I have seen presented here, following the flow of the discussion.
About the only real response I have gotten is the lazy stuff I have come to expect, but hey, I'll roll with that, since it is what I am given here. As for "getting rejected", that is your wishful, information bubble talking, sorry.

Indeed they do.
Respectfully:
This is something of a trivial, meaningless statement. Better points can be made.
