The only way to stop the trade to the Raptors was the Spurs getting a better offer...Why would you/anyone get mad if the Spurs find a better offer in trade-talks?

What people don't realize is... a better offer is "better" for the TEAM not the player.

Let's not dilute ourselfs . Kawhis only intention was to stop the trade, not to get the spurs a better deal. Spurs didnt buy it either or they would of waited. Hopefully you realize this.

Again, the only way to stop a trade is because the team gets a better offer for the player and trade him to other team.

About the Spurs didn't buy it or would wait...IIRC timvp said in his thread that the timing of the trade before USA Basketball Camp could be related to Kawhi's injury.

Most times, a chronic injury passes a physical test-trade -remember Nash trade or Rose's- but GMs wouldn't be thrilled if they see Kawhi genuinely having quad's issues after a few practices this summer w/Team USA and USA doctors saying he has a real issue.
