Win 3rd or 4th place.
This is the way it is rooting for a 2nd level financed club.
You learn to deal with these things.

Spurs are like Arsenal post 2006 (Emirates stadium). It's eerie, the similarities.

@apalisoc_9 has been beating on this drum for a while now: Tottenham look so such more fluid playing without Kane. The sample size has gotten big enough that rubbishing such opinion would be silly.
Kane is not a transcendent striker; he is slightly better than replacement level. He might match Thierry Henry goals haul, but he will never have his impact on the game.
Spurs should probably try to sell high on him this summer given his injury-proneness..

Kane is a good player but is massively overrated and worse has the privilage of a ronaldo, messi etc.
Even Guys like Hazard, Salah, sterling, KDB etc all have to play a specific way. Hazard has had to play out of position for so many games, Salah playing as a 9 etc.
Kane is given even more priviliage in the field than these guys. Thats a big problem because unless he is messi it ruins overall team potential.
But its the English media.

With over half their starting lineup gone, and with the incredibly immobile Llorente, taking Kanes place.
Eriksen, Sissoko, and Vertonghen were the ONLY regulars on the field. And with Eriksen making an uncharacteristic amount of mistakes.
It’s amazing how people can make these statements without even watching the games.
Spurs had been very good with Kane and Son/Mora/ Ali for 3 games BEFORE the Huddersfield massacre.
The only really legit argument for sitting him when healthy is his ankles will never be the same.
It has clearly affected his speed. His passing, placement, use of his body, and ability to pull defenders away has improved enormously from his early years of constant goal scoring.
But I get the trolling when people go out on a limb to root for MC, RM or Barca. And then deflect to the ever present Messi/Ronaldo overreacting when their lavishly financed teams don’t look so good.
Blaming Lloris or replacing him is a more legit and by far more significant argument.

This is your first problem.
Thinking the poster knows the team.
Transcendent striker? He never was? He is the best striker on Tottenham and they eventually suffer with him gone. Luckily they only have a tough MC team on the rest of the EPL schedule. So 3 or 4 is possible without him.
Sample size... How do you get a sample size without watching the games and declaring fluidity? That’s just silly.
He measures fluidity by Son goals. So yeah... If the sample size included the last 3 games (before Huddersfield) you would say keep Kane and Son together.
The astute Apo looks at the zero-zero score at half against Crystal Palace and declares Kane a disaster and then suddenly goes quiet. Spurs owned that game and were very fluid the entire game just like the 2nd half of Liverpool.
You guys are lucky I keep you in line by actually knowing a team and a player. There would never even be a Tottenham discussion. I dont even get a Spurs logo:(
This ST Soccer section can be an illegitimate abortion of posts. If the Lefty's humor was gone it would be a tough read.
We need an infusion of actual fans of teams who watch games.

Emery should be ripped apart for his selections to day. El Neny and Guendouzi midfield...after we saw Everton destroy them a week ago? Mavropanos?
Mustafi? Not even MLS level player.

Liverpool is destined to win this with the amount of breaks they've gotten this season:lol

Allison is so overrated. This buffon has made ten times the mistake karuis made as a GK for liverpool.
He should be thanking the defense and the midfield for doing a great job of limiting opportunities.
Faggot has been so bad.

I disagree.. they don't have any heart, they're more likely to quit than bounce back IMO and the talent disparity is significant..
