Getting back to Jack Reacher.

You as the reader are sold on the fact no matter what the situation might be, here is the guy who can break down that door. whip that pack of bikers, bend a bar, do herculean whatever it takes. People respond to him like they would any monstrous human being. This is not a little guy like Tom Cruise.

When he is out on the road with his thumb in the air he stands sideways so his size wont be as intimidating. He has talked about that. This is not Tom Cruise.
