Who is voting these down? That’s retarded. Might as well just say no trades allowed

I think it’s both. It’s a great system and he has an elite cast. But he’s accurate as fuck
as he gains experience he’ll become less system dependent. Think brady

It just takes 4 votes out of 12 to veto. So anyone who thinks a trade is making a team better (other than their own) can just veto.
And now everyone that has had a trade vetoed is going to veto out of spite.
So it doesn't take long to get to the 4 votes.
It's messed up.

He was also getting Cole. So it was Gurley/Cole for Cooks/McCaffrey. VETO
Also Gurley/Cooper for Evans/Conners. VETO

4 votes is way too low. And that’s stupid. Definitely not rejoining

That will change next season I'm sure. Apparently it's the default Yahoo setting and we've been using it for years. Never had an issue. I always assumed it was 50%.
Needs to at least me majority. Or if 50% veto, then commish decides.

always set to commish decision
you can decide how many votes should be enough, and then just have the commish poll people in a new thread.

Jay you heard that? At least four of us are opposed to the BS veto rules. Fix it.

No offense, but yall’s league is awful if that is a veto. If I were in that league I would leave mid-season.

I don't think until this year, anyone really looked at the veto rules. Until this year, I'd say that 99% of trades went through.
And since I'll end up winning, I'm not going to quit.

Maybe we could just post each trade to a ST poll and let the people decide.
But we need to figure that out soon so I can create a bunch of alts.

you just have to create a poll within the yahoo league. just start a thread there, give league members 1-2 days to cast a vote. imo you should have clear majority to veto. so excluding the 2 people in the trade, obviously, you should need 5/8.
but if people are going to veto like pussies like in the examples already given, it's probably a hopeless endeavor. only other option is just to leave it up to the commissioner who should only be out there preventing obvious collusion. the league is too far gone to be saved. like gotham. need to ra's al ghul this shit

Funny how Brandin Cooks goes from kicking ass in NO to sucking ass in NE to kicking ass again for LA.
The idea that Brady makes his teammates better needs to die. That’s always been one of his bigger faults tbh. Everybody has to conform to him or else.

That idea in general is false.

Perhaps.
I don't see Brandin Cooks as evidence either way. I do think he makes his OL better with his ability to identify blitzes and make hot adjustments when need be.

We’ve landed in NY. Looking forward to the game Sunday.

Lol at the idea he’s sucked ass in NE. He put up almost the same yards and TD as he did with Brees.

Lots of garbage time catches. If you watched the games you’d know. He was terrible in the playoffs.

He was a glorified Brandon Lloyd tbh. All of his big plays were designed or came on defensive mistakes, the notion that he was a play maker who did anything other than take what was given to him is retarded. Danny holdmydick Amendola was a bigger loss than Cooks.
-
Re: **OFFICIAL Week 4 Game Thread, Sponsored by Roughing The Passer
so mcdaniels sucked at using him. look at how mcvay is really crafting his offense to get cooks involved on something other than deep routes

Brady makes the quicker-than-fast route running type receivers (more than half of them white, also guys like Malcolm Mitchell) better. The talented #1 guys like cooks that are more talent than route running don't last long with the Patriots. Belichick won't tolerate diva receivers... hence the Welker, Amendola, Chandler, Edelman, Hogan types... also waiting in the wings for the Pats, they have 1 white slot receiver on IR that they recently drafted + 2 more on their practice squad, so Belichick type receivers aren't going away from that team anytimes soon even after they kick Edelman to the curb.
If Eric Decker had seriously still cared about football, he would have been their #2 this year instead of Dorsett, Patterson or (now) Gordon... guaranteed. They have Gordon now because he's cheap, sound move, if he balls out this year they can trade him for a 2nd round pick... don't think he'll ever net a 1st because he's one drug suspension away from a lifetime ban.
