Let's not pollute the game thread further but you are aware that less than a year ago a white supremacist blew up members of th black community and they quietly let that slide as a one time event despite evidence that there is radical social group around here.

Second issue is the gentrification, Austin is shedding blacks year after year by pricing them out. (Numbers are increasing but not in comparisons of total growth. Granted they move to RR and Pflugerville, but that leads to:

I'd say it's hard to call the city of Austin racist over one racism-fueled incident. Unfortunately, those happen everywhere, which is a stain on humanity as a whole.

As for the gentrification...we're all getting priced out of Austin. That's not a race issue, it's a social class issue, and it's caused by too many people flocking here for the tech boom. Austin has gotten way too fucking expensive for everybody, and that's why everyone is being forced to move to the 'burbs (Kyle, Buda, RR, Cedar Park, etc).

Can't really argue with the third point, though. Either way, let's agree to disagree and focus on the game.

It would still be early in the recovery timeline. There'd be a chance he could be healthy enough to play, but he'd be more likely to be an injury risk of at least not near playing shape.

Yes on let's think about the game. It does little good to talk about gentrification because ATX is what it is, one of the fastest growing metros in the US. It's still a cool place and one of the most diverse communities around.
