Oh now Solomon Hill is an asset?

I am good with that.
Umm, the Pelicans don't want it. Their hand is forced and they have to take table scraps.

He's not an asset for this year nor this summer since he eats up 2019 cap space. But lol at thinking he won't be an attractive expiring next season.

how is it 4 late picks again a lot can change in four years.
Lakers never thought they would suck when they made the nash deal.
again it not only cists you late picks you also cant make other moves either.
This trade would hurt:
..depth
... The cap
... future trades.
Im not married t our young guys i like dont love any of them they can have one or two not all three if they want us to eat a bad contract and surrender that many picks.
IDGAF what yall say I back away if the cost is that high.
No way ainge gives up that much.
I Would want Tatum i dont blame them for that.
but this latest rumor is ridiculous.

The owners are sending a message. This is more of a lesson from powerful white folks directed towards Lebron and Rich Paul, considering with how blatant they tampered and colluded to get Anthony.
I can guarantee you if Lebron and his representation are in Boston, they would also ask for the moon.

Come on man, comparing a young in his prime Davis to Nash who they knew had a couple years left max? You guys can't offer quality to the Pelicans so they have to ask for quantity.

NOLA is sending the message that they're not impressed with the Lakers young scrubs.

He’s not an asset. Name me one “realistic “ scenario where a guy like Solomon Hill is an asset? Unless you’re throwing some picks (which the Lakers wouldn’t have) then a guy making $13 million averaging 5 pts a game shooting 30% from the floor even on an expiring deal will never be an asset.

great take some out of the proposal and we have a deal.
They are scrubs, right? So we increase the draft compensation, eat a bad contract and keep most of the young "scrubs".
Done and done.

Don’t buy that for one bit especially when there are no other offers coming their way. Boston? Yeah, LOL at you if you think they’re going to send AD for a year rental. No siree bob.

Like I said, you don't have quality so you have to give them quantity. You didn't want to give four firsts but now you want to trade six or seven of them?

If they were they'd make the trade since they're not likely to do better than three guys they really like given the minimal leverage they have.

an expiring is an asset but he is far from an "attractive" one.
Bum is just being silly.
Bum also would be a shitty divorce lawyer.
Sure, I only was pre-law student but no way you let the other side get everything in a "divorce".
Nola wants the house, kids, and even the Reward miles.
Its like the beginning of wedding crashers.
Nola owners being a vindictive wife "you and that bitch will be left with nothing" excpet the clotes on your back and the manual transmission sports car (davis) which I cant drive!!!

You cant.
Four is the max
We can include seconds.
I mean I never was willing to give up four firsts, read what I posted this morning.
They want four firsts?
take some of the young guys out the deal.
Offer: 4 firsts and whatever two players they want and we eat a bad deal. Just not all three young guys. they are scrubs so why does it matter ? you want quantity that is still 6 players plus cap fillers.

Not sure if srs. Asking for the house would be equivalent to the Pelicans wanting LeBron in the trade. This is more like the wife asking for all the VHS tapes in the closet, the above ground pool, and the rusted out El Camino sitting on blocks in the front yard.

Re: Anthony Davis requests trade
i think it's pretty clear pels don't want lonzo and realise players like kuzma are very easy to find. This seems a dead rumor at this point.

Hey Bum, I know we have our differences but I just want to say I really enjoy talking hoops with you.
That’s all for now. Cheers bud.

Re: Anthony Davis requests trade
It’s ok. Lakers don’t need AD. They have Klay Thompson coming on board :lobt2:

:lol NOLA telling LAL to go fuck themselves
:lol LBJ tampered, went unpunished and failed
:lol No one wants to play with LBJ or LAL
:lol worthless assets
:lol shit roster
:lol LAC gonna have a better offseason
:lol No PG13. No KL. No AD.

if they dont want the trade just say that and both teams move on.
Davis is a great player but he is not worth more than greats like Kareem, shaq etc fetched in trades.

Hes a top 5 player, maybe top 3. He’s 25 and you guys are guaranteed to have 6+ years of him. And none of the current prospects have All-League potential plus the draft picks are projected in the low 20s. Come on now.

funny reply ... but the point being no one seriously is making a trade like that.
I agree Davis wotth more than any one player or pick in a proposed deal. Heck davis is worth more than most first round picks in ANY draft.
He is great . but he aint rookie Bron or even KD imho.
Outside of those guys, I take Davis over any potential top of the draft guys even zion so I agree they need to get a lot back.
but there is point where I walk away.
Illl keep my scrubs. and my four firsts

'78 ... if you give up four firsts there is no telling where those picks land in 2023 and 2025
Im not saying I wouldnt give up four firsts let us keep on of our young guys ...done
Im not saying I wouldnt eat Hill's contract make it three first rounders instead of 4 ...done.
Im just giviing up 4,eating a turd cohtract and giving up all three of our best prospects.
I agree its potential borderline all-stars at best.
But as much as I love Tatum i dont see all league from him either.
Pelss want Picks we create a deal centered on that ...
they want young prspects we do that
they want salray cap relief we vuild around that.
they want SOme of all three ...we make that happen but that trade request? I walk away from.

The Solomon contract though, the Lakers need to find a way to drop that excess trans fat. AD and just Lebron is going to be another punt. They would need all the help they can get. $13 million is about half of the portion of their available cap.
You’re looking at
Lebron
AD
Solomon Hill
Svi Mikhailuk
Wagner
and roughly $26 mil? left for 10 or so players. Yeah, no.
