come to think of it .. I bet Bruce would make the best former player turned coach. :)
But realisticly he;d do his best work in the DL. He;s just that kinda guy ya know? The hands on mold 'em while they are young kinda guy.

Larry Brown :lol
No, really ...
I think Mike Brown would probably like to stay in Cleveland with LeBron for quite a while, if given the opportunity and LeBron stays.
PJ won't be much younger than Pop when Pop retires.
As someone intimated, as long as Tim Duncan is in the league, Pop will likely be his coach. When Duncan retires, then Pop will probably soon follow. And, like it or not, the Spurs will not be contending for titles for at least a few years after that, if not more. It's the nature of the cycles of the NBA. So, after Pop, the Spurs will need a transition coach, an interim body. And, when they develop into a power again, then they find the right man to lead the team. So, really, whoever replaces Pop won't be as important as the man who eventually leads the team back to title contention.

I would say I. Thomas be Genereal Manager and have Bill Lambier as Head Coach. John Salley could be an assistant. We could also bring in Stephen A. Smith as our TV Commentator.

Let's just hope it's not the former head coach of the Washington Generals.

I think Rasho should be the coach and Beno should be his assistant.
