i agree to an extent, but he jumped off the bench and started yelling at the ref right when it happened, and then continued into the timeout. we're 60 seconds into the game, he doesnt need to be jumping off the bench and screaming over a no call already tbh. is he tom thibbideau now? :lol but i agree, it was a bullshit tech initially and super weak ejection

I've seen Pop "try" to get ejected. This wasn't one of those situations.

The game hasn't even been going on long enough for Pop to have gotten under a ref's skin. This is a case that the ref got called out and wanted to be a pussy about it. There is no reason to eject anybody 63 seconds in unless he punches somebody tbh.

Also, Davis lost minutes for maybe a handful of games after his ejection, so saying he was "in the doghouse" is not a valid point.
