I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Congrats on the best game of your career, considering the magnitude of the game. You played well on both ends and were in more control than our two best players. You deserved to have closed the game too. Proud of you!

Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Absolutely. He played great and fearless tonight in his first playoff start. Props bruh
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
puts more effort chasing his man, even when he knows he stuff up a defensive play, he responds on the next play
unlike that pos mills
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Forbes had the Tom Izzo coaching going through him. MSU players may not be the most talented, but they're often tough.

Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Can't deny it. He even played good D at times. He looked like shit on D at other times, but I'll take the good. He was fearless on offense. I don't think he'll ever be able to dribble against ball pressure, but he's doing enough right that I have to give credit.

Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Gotta admit it, a real professional job by Forbes.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Brian did step up, even I will admit.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
My most hated Spur but he did come through. Props :tu
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
He definitely has been playing with a lot of swagger lately. Props to him for finding his confidence at the right time
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
I hate that POS but he showed some nuts tonight tbh. Not sold on him staying on Harris all series tho.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Forbes will come up biggest in the biggest moments.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Make no mistake, he'll never be match-up proof and could still wind up being borderline unplayable but tonight, he stepped up big time.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
But what about White? Lol.
Chances are Forbes doesn’t keep this up but the Spurs desperately need this version of him to show up all playoffs.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Forbes >>>> Mills
by a mile now

White still made some big mistakes but had a solid game. He needs to make better decisions with the ball, especially now.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Why the hell would the press ask DeFrozen about White's mental toughness, what does he know about toughness?
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Say what you want about him, but he doesn’t fold. Reminds me of Gary Neal but actually tries to play defense. He might not have what it takes to be a long term starter, but he’s doing just fine right now. Get yours Bryn :toast
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
More than half of Derozan's press conference questions are about D.White

Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
He's been a nice piece all season, could be a legit bench asset for the foreseeable future..
His flaws don't even really matter in this series since you don't mind making Gary Harris or their bench wings try to beat you..

Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
He's come a long damn way from last season when he didn't even look like he belonged in the league.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
I admit that Forbes defensive pisses me off also. He played damn well tonight and the last few games overall. Maybe next season he will come back seven better
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
I got hate when I said I want him last off-season, he’s such a bargain, especially compared to the mills deal. He’s gonna have an even better game before our seasons over
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
He wasn't relied on for more than his one skill, shooting. And he's damn good at that, so glad he sacked up when it mattered most. Also glad the game plan didn't involve him with a larger or less fitting role. Like guarding anyone
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Can't wait til RC gives him 14mil a year at midnight in a few years.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Hope Bryn plays like this the rest of the way. It would be nice for everyone on our team to get some consistency game to game to game.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
he's better than Mills, that's all
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
He was -7 in the game. That's another example and probably the most glaring that the +- stat is the worst and most useless individual stat in all of sports. The reality is that +- is more of a team stat than a player stat.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Played good offense yesterday as he often does. I hope he continues making his shots under pressure. Good for him and the Spurs.
I don't want him in our team, specially as a starter. He can't play defense at a decent level, he's too small to guard a SG and not quick or smart enough to guard a PG. Opps score easily over him in 1on1 actions; poor p&r defender; can't switch anything; absolutely inneffective helping out, doubling or rotating. Hardly can get a contested defensive rebound.
He's having a very good season, fitting perfectly into the starting five next to Aldridge, DeRozan and White but IMO, the team helps him much more of what he helps the team.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Was terrific hope he keeps it rolling . Huge confidence aura i love it.

You're one miserable fuck on here. Why would you hate on Forbes? I almost get a sense you want Forbes to fail.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
He's gotten so much better. I definitely did not think he was capable of it. All credit to him for proving so many of us wrong. He was awesome to watch last night. Hope he keeps it going.

My dude, if I post something, there's like a 90% chance you'll pop your head up and be outraged.
I keep expecting all your posts to sign off with #metoo tbh :lol

Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Bryn is playing himself into starting full time next year as well. Dude has been shooting lights out, with his improved passing and defense, he's become a very important player for our team. Our starting line up can't afford any more players who can't shoot so I'm glad Bryn has found his niche with the team. Him and White are going to be even better next year. And with Lonnie off the bench. We are stacked at guards.
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
He's having a good stretch and he had a good game in the playoffs so he deserves credit....
Still he's a very limited player (he gave up 20 points to Gary Harris tbh) that should be getting 15-20 mins a night on a contending team....
No, he shouldn't start next year....DeJounte/DWhite and even Lonnie with a training camp under his belt are all superior players....
-
Re: I have to admit: I'm proud of Forbes tonight, tbh.
Once he improves his dribbling more it will make him much better.
-

Agree. Forbes is a limited player, too short, etc... He is a competitor though. Shows a lot of heart. I agree also that next year Forbes won't be a starter.

Nope. He'll be a bench spark plug.

He's a younger, cheaper, bigger Patty.
Patty worked best next to Manu.

I agree, but at this point Forbes is better than Patty. Forbes is less streaky, has better shooting numbers, is better at scoring around the rim, better at feeding the rolling big man, a better rebounder, averages more PPG, has a stronger frame, plays slightly better D, is younger and has a cheaper contract. The only thing Mills is better at is being a leader in the locker room, waving towels and picking coffee

I think by next January Mills will play spot minutes unless we trade Forbes. And who is Instagram Murray replacing? Dude can't shoot so you can't start him next to midrange shooters like DDR and LMA. Maybe he replaces Poetl? Lonnie already looking better than Murray, he's got the same quick step as Murray but can actually shoot the ball. A bench unit full of shooters will be deadly next year.
-

You’re sitting up there acting like you KNOW he can’t shoot now.. almost as if you’ve never been capable of improving at anything in your life before. I guarantee Murray’s hard work now has him as a league average 3 point shooter at the very least.

Damn my bad Jilly. Didn't mean to insult your boy like that
