It’s always been Phil. Been saying this forever. Pop cannot get out of his own way. Never coaches to what’s happening in the game in the moment with his lineups. He has a pregame plan and that’s how he coaches the entire game.

Both Phil Jackson and Pop are good but very overrated coaches due to having a constant luxury of superstar talent. That being said I don't think most of you actually think Jackson is better than Pop, you're just really mad over the loss. Understandable but try to see through your temporary hatred.

If Manu hadn't come off the bench almost his entire career Pop might have gone with stretches of Jacque Vaughn, Michael Finley, Ime Udoka perimeters on playoffs games, tbh. :lol

Not playing Beli / Forbes/ Patty together seems like a no-brainer but the old man decided playing Derozan and White more than 32 mins this game would be unfair to the rest of the team....

Pop sucks. Far too mechanical - not recognizing that Gay FN SUCKED and opting to continue to play him was atrocious. Not realizing that Derozan and White needed stay in the game towards the end of the 3rd was unforgivable. He’s too old and too stubborn to do anything to stem the tide. This loss is bad.

It’s the same things that happened to start the 4th in game 6 of the finals in 2013. Shitty lineup. Miami immediately cuts a big lead down. Pop calls a timeout...and sends the same lineup out there. :lol
