What sweetener to Belli’s matching salary do you send back considering he’s an UFA next summer?
I’d also bring in his UVA teammate Justin Anderson as a rehab project.

For real? I haven’t really watched him play enough to know one way or another, but that seems steep for a player that can walk next summer.

Why? I mean, what do they want instead?

The way I look at it is he’s a really good player, one of the best 3 point shooters in the game and can defend. He’s pretty much what we need. With us drafting so many players the last few years I’m okay getting Harris and locking him up long term for a 1st
-
Re: Spurs 2019 offseason thread
Definitely a fan of Harris long term especially over Bogdanovic. Though I will say his entire game struggled in the playoffs against Philly, hopefully a fluke.

And they're still gonna keep the powder dry, smh. I really hate this FO once the draft is done.

I'm thinking it's a salary cap issue. She'd salary because of the hopes of landing Kyrie and another superstar.

Relax. A ton of crippling (for years) mistakes are about to be made. Just not by the Spurs . . .

Spurs have had their fair share of crippling mistakes the last 4 years tbh, they're not immune from it.

Therefore, no need to make chancy moves. The Spurs draft was so good they can just smile and watch the show . . .

Can he defend the 3?

Sounds like Rubio to Indy. I’m not a cap guy does that change anything in terms of bogo?

In my opinion yes. He's not gonna be defensive player of the year, but he's actually a pretty good defender.

Not likely since they can use bird rights on him. The real questions are: what is Indy’s walk away number and does Bojan has a different team preference altogether?

That's what I was thinking too, unless it was known they wanted a backup forward or center, or whatever, but I haven't seen anything like that. So, they probably want to free up the money, as they shop for stars. In that case they'd prefer draft picks, I guess. Unlikely they'd want to do a player trade, and take on another contract.
Harris is listed at 6'6". 27 years old. If we could move Belinelli elsewhere..... It would take a multi-team deal. There's no roster space for Harris without moving a guard.
Belinelli to team x for draft picks. Just clear that roster spot. Take those picks, maybe add a Spurs pick, to the Nets for Harris. Some sort of deal like that. The financial cost would be Harris at 7.67 minus Beli at 5.85, so about $1.82 million. I would like it.
Hell, since he's 6'6" we could sell Pop on Harris being a small forward. :lol

Wouldn't be mad with Aminu. Not many SFs available. He's nothing special but would be a solid rotational player

Ricky Rubio tour of boring ass NBA cities continues. I remember when he wanted to go to a flashier place than Minnesota.

I’d be thrilled with Aminu. I’m expecting a free agent on a tier below him or nothing.
