You won't find me ever argue that the Perkins injury excuse wasn't bullshit. Props to MVPau for being the team leader that he was and taking advantage of a shorthanded Celtics front line.

Couple that with Klay now being legit hobbled (I doubt he plays GM3, but even if he does, re-injury is a big concern), KD alone wont save them.
Their half court offense was struggling already and I didn’t see anything last game that leads me to believe they have a consistent solution.
It will have to be won on defense and they have not exactly been playing high IQ ball on that end. Dray has to play like an MVP just to keep them in games.
All true, but Kawhi looks visibly limited, as well..he's still giving you decent offense, but his defense just isn't there right now..
These teams don't have the same margin for error..

Ehhh - he’s not having to defend anyone good though. So while that would matter if he was chasing Curry/KD/Klay he’s not and all he has to do is hover and clog passing lanes (even without forcing steals) and rebound.

But he couldn't do that yesterday, he was late on everything, no help D, which is crucial against the Warriors, especially for the man playing off Draymond..

It worked well for 1.75 games honestly...it was just that one spurt that got them.

I'd agree with you, except this has pretty much been the story for GS all playoffs. Inconsistent on the whole, but they keep winning because those "amazing spurts" have been enough to carry them to victory time and time again. The Warriors lost at least 50% of quarters, for example, in the Portland series, yet still won easily. I see this series playing out in a similar way. Solid competition from Toronto punctuated by GS savagely raping them in single stretches, as we witnessed in the 3rd quarter of game 2.
GS in 6. Hope I'm wrong, tbh.

Re: Finals: Raptors vs. Warriors
Take TOR game 3 whatever the spread is, when they announce KD is in

TOR is no POR. TOR has a top defense all year and coming back on them is not the same as POR. Kawhi is better on offense than anyone they have faced.
If GS were fully healthy for sure; but they aren’t and that allows TOR to get away with things they should not be able to.

True. Kobe can only win with stacks frontlines. If he didn’t chase off shaq he’d equal Horry or even Sam Jones.

We would predict that here, that he had some formerly undisclosed injury that prevented him from doing well. There was Lebron's broken hand last year, which magically healed. Of course Harden's eye was real, but I seem to recall he was sick last year, and Curry had some medical issues as well.
"He comes in tonight nursing a sore ankle".. "He's been dealing with a stomach virus"...
Proceeds to bust the club open and empty 5 bottles of Grey Goose.

On one hand he's pushing the tempo which is good, really good actually because Toronto cannot set up their defense and GS thrives in transition. On the other hand he is giving back points by not being selective enough with his 30 yard passes. Toronto is long, all of them, and they are great defenders. Trying to get a ball over them is like trying to get one past prime Deion Sanders, especially Kawhi who has softball mitts for hands.

Re: Finals: Raptors vs. Warriors
looney likely out for the series. klay probably out next game. durant still not back.
a lot of pressure on curry, and they are going to need boogie to step up

Raps take game 3. Imo.
Lose game 4. And win in 6.

Re: Finals: Raptors vs. Warriors
Leonard needs to play more offball. He looks great when he males quick decisions off a pass.
Lowry needs to shoot more

Why are there so many days between games? I swear I hate the NBA.

iggys career reminds me more of j-kidd but without kidd's peak.
Agree 100%.
I was speaking number of big shots made

They aren't going to win without Lowry playing like he did against Milwaukee..you can't rely on role players(although Lowry is essentially a role player now) to beat a team with so many stars..
They need to have Gasol initiate more from the high post..Kawhi against double teams is painful to watch, he doesn't know what to do..

I thought kawhi getting doubble teamed is exactly what the raptors need, but that should be a quick pass to Gasol at the top. They've looked great offensively whenever kawhi would pass it to Gasol after a double. Problem is kawhi is taking too long to initiate the offense.
If they can initiate the offense quick, get that double team quick. They'll destroy the warriors.

Yeah - Kawhi is horrendous at seeing doubles and making decisions there. But they aren’t playing against stars...KD out and rest of GS is pretty bad tbh.. outside of Klay/Curry (Dray is just so limited
