Rundown of the teams I watched 1 game and transfers:
1. MC: Nothing to be said. Just have to hope Pep has some baby meltdown like “the press is against him” when they draw a game. Stacked again. Ridiculous. They would have been in the CL finals if Spurs did not get very fortunate. Their bench comes in 2nd or third.
2. Liverpool: Mane absence did not stop them. Hope their goalkeeper gets injured. Or Klopp gets distracted by the FA. I think they are a big step behind MC but know how to win.
3. Chelsea: Lampard has seem to got them on task and playing very hard. They dominated most of the first half against MU, Hitting the woodwork a number of times unluckily. Then they were pressed 2nd half and gave up the ball in horrible spots and MU was clinical. 4-0 was not indicative of the game. It’s gonna take some time to learn what Lampard wants, so different than Sarri.
4. Tottenham: Christen Eriksen coming on 2nd half was the reason they won. How hard does Eriksen play all year, he wanted Spain? Very strong mid field now with Eriksen staying. (Son and Ali on the bench) Ndombele appears to be an outstanding pickup. Dude has a ton of talent. Kane put the game away indirectly from Eriksen’s play 2nd half. Very weak on the wings. Danny Rose was awful. They sold their best back line winger in Trippier and he was not that good or D. FBs older and Toby Alderweireld was not sold as planned.
5. MU: They held off in the transfers and did not get significant MF which is a weak spot. Bisssaka is very good. If his head is on straight for his age, this was a HUGE pickup. Hard to tell what H. McGuire will give them until he understands what he has to play with him in the back. But he was good 1st game. Weak in MF. This will bite them unless some youngsters from their academy make noise or winter transfer aides them.
6. Arsenal: What a summer! So many New additions to be worked in later so we will see. Probably played the weakest team in the EPL,Newcastle, so really can’t say much yet. If you want to bet on a relegation team it seems Newcastle is it. Too bad because they have great fans. Arsenal bought to get to the top, will be interesting.
Surprise: Brighton
Had a fairly quiet summer transfer wise but the new manager’s system got them a 3-0 win away? And they beat a team on the rise last season. Last season Brighton had trouble scoring and were horrid away. They barely scored any goals away. Not a talented bunch so it will be interesting to see if Houghton was really that bad as a manager (I did not think he was, he did not have the players, so they got worn down last season and barely escaped relegation). Glen Murray still their CF. I think he is like 48 yo.
Mahrez involved in all 5 goals
Hope he keeps this up
City, Spurs and VAR
Better love story than Twilight :lmao
Tottenham might be the jammiest team in the world
New Castle playing like total trash and messing up my parlay.
:lol That ending to the Tottenham / MC game....
Sorry, I'm not sure how I got so far behind. Think NBC Sports posting games way late. They'd better fix that sh**.
9:30 I don't know what the point of VAR is if that's not being called.

:rollin
Real Madrid is the new Arsenal tbh
Liverpool at Anfield is a horror to play.
They are everywhere.
Contemptful aggression.
And then I remember them dismembering Barcelona.
:lol Cucknited
:lol Paul Hogball
:lol coached by Vegetable Lasagna from Seinfeld
Had to go back and watch Chelsea @ Norwich. Damn, they almost got that 3-3 draw on a header that hit the crossbar late.
Norwich not quite a dark horse imo, but a pleasant ascent from a promoted team.
Gonna :lol if Pukki leads the EPL in scoring.
Tottenham and Arsenal draw at the Emirates.
Arsenal dominated the game.
So far Tottenham has played exactly a half of good football in eight.
Transfer window closes tomorrow. If Eriksen leaves, Tottenham has little chance at 3rd or 4th.
International soccer this weekend. Does anyone actually subscribe to ESPN+ to watch all that?
Lol City.
:lol Watford
And Arsenal drew with them the previous week
:wow Mahrez
Leicester's clean sheet match against Newcastle United was indeed my favorite clash on weekend. If Jamie Vardy will be able to keep up a good play like this then there's a chance that they will be able to keep their league standing in order to be in UEFA Champions League next season.
Tottenham troubles and EPL
Eriksen asked to be in Spain this summer.
Overall his play has been listless.
Its tough on Ponch when half of your team was ready for a possible transfer in the summer and contracts expiring in some cases.
Eriksen, Rose, Aurier, Alderwereld, Vertonghen.
This has crept into EPL play as well.
Could be a very long season, top 4 in doubt.
Pencil in Liverpool and MC top 2 what do we have left.
Arsenal
Chelsea
Man U
Tottenham
Who else sneaks into this group. Not sure.
Lets see who holds out. Chelsea is playing a very young team with Lampard but I sense a step in the + direction. They play very hard and are willing. They just are not very good, yet.
Arsenal still dynamic on attack. Defense gets a bit of a boost in speed (Bellerin is back from injury)but it’s still not good.
Man U. Rebuild stages. But not as + as Chelsea.
Tottenham Inaction for more transfers for 2 years has left them in a very mentally unstable state not knowing where players really want to be.
:lol City
liverpool running away with the tittle
City can catch them easily.
Liverpool while good has had incredible fortune to start the year. They should have 3 draws instead of wins. Leicester literally handed them the game in the last minute. I think City will make things interesting as the season goes on.
I can't wait to watch the match between Liverpool and Manchester United. I feel like they will be able to finish the season strong if they will continue their great undefeated run, and add more points as the game continue.
:lmao Southampton
Lampard can only hold Pulisic down so long
Liverpool vs. Tottenham a pivotal game for both teams. Barring a draw, either Liverpool cements their lead or Tottenham starts to turn it around.
Liverpool wins on a shady PK call. Par.
Just found out Arsenal and Liverpool drew 5 - 5. The fuck? :lol
Ruroh
City getting closer
Wow the EPL is really pushing Liverpool to win. Handball in box ignored and Salah offside on second goal.
:lol Pep Jackson
:lol benching his best RW
:lol waiting the 70th to make a sub
:cry my nikka Mahrez scoring the winner vs Chelsea
:lol just hardly ever log on here
Hope you've been good,brah.
:lol gunners
:lol canada
Just one. He's good. Thanks for asking
:lol lOle
:lol « better than Jose »
:lol Vegetable Lasagna
:lol soccer fans are lunatics, tbh.
Press calling Tottenham’s win over 10 man MC a masterclass performance by Mourinho...
Gotta go back and use that Pep v. self proclaimed genius theme. Tired and stupid writing.
Ridiculous game.
Spurs completely outclassed, MC hitting the woodwork and just outplaying Spurs Except on the scoreboard.
Hugo Lloris was brilliant though.

Spurs looking good again without Kane.
What a surprise. They've been on a downward spiral since kane returned last year
Uhhh... No
Its exactly the opposite.
Son alone was given multiple chances one v. one against Fernadhino and Walker and he got outclassed.
Pep was not even worried enough to at least give them help.
Kane provides a landing spot for the long kick when MC presses the ball in third by the goal.
Lloris kicks could not be controlled by the Son Lucas pairing, they just are not strong enough in the air.
Son and Lucas, it thats who Mo wants to start absolutely need Kane to at least control the ball with his back turned. No one else can do what he does on the air on the Spurs, no one.
For the first time in many, many years the Spurs got shut out three games in a row without Kane.
Kane is incredibly important against teams like MC. He can act as a focal point for distribution without losing the ball close to goal.
Not surprised again with your zero knowledge concerning teams you dont watch.
But its Ok if one really wants Mo to stay because the Spurs have a chance as all the teams vying for 4th place are all horribly inconsistent.
I personally hope Mo loses this team this season on so we can move forward. He has already banished a few players. Son's strength on the ball and defense is poor enough for Mo to actually get on him. He is a sensitive player so Mo could easily drive him away. Which would be a huge mistake because if Son is in the game and has another player like Kane who teams have to respect, he can score. Son is super fast, but not faster than Walker which was horribly apparent in the MC game.
Ziyech to Chelsea this summer, pretty much done
Great addition tbh
The 3rd and 4th positions for the champions league just opened up.
If MC loses their appeal, it’s gonna be two very poor teams taking those spots unless the rest can make big changes.
Chelsea, Tottenham, MU, Arsenal are all very weak. Sheffield United and Wolverhampton don’t have the funds. LC is really not that good either. There is going to have to be big improvement in a short time underneath Liverpool.

I've seen this headline for atleast 4 years now. Dump the scrub already
Few of +€100M transfers were really worth the effort the clubs sunk in. Mbappe was worth the money, Neymar was overpaid, Bale wasn’t worth €100M, Coutinho and Dembele laughable, Felix laughable, Griezmann laughable, Pogba laughable, Hazard time will tell, Cristiano was worth for Madrid for sure, Higuaín laughable.
Tbh, not sure if that kind of contracts make much sense. At least not for untested or inconsistent players.
:bobo
One week away from another Bielsa chokejob.
"All the players' names on the back of their shirts were replaced with the words "Black Lives Matter" as the Premier League formally joined the international protest campaign sparked by the death of George Floyd in America."
Poland did the same with Hong Kong. :lol
Goal : BLM
Assist : BLM
:lol David Luiz
And another fuck up by Luiz
AFTV is gonna be good :lol

Make me, bitch
EPL: Take a knee or have your career ruined. What a fucking joke Black Lives Matter is.
Wow, though. I thought goal line technology was supposed to be dependable.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3ottIXJOGg
My inclination is to look for the cheating;Quote:
I'm a United Fan and happy that it just was 0 - 0 and United stay in 5th place but I have to agree that this was a goal!!!
but I think the ref was legit thinking the goal line tech was infallible.
Certainly, no thought to VAR was given.
Has to be that or flat-out cheating.
Hard to beat the Manchesters. They always get free PKs.
They got one for the tie late against Tottenham.
And then the faggoty ref tried to give them a second late for the win, but VAR wouldn't let him. :lmao
hater
A bad showing by Norwich City against South Hampton. They're gonna get relegated in their first season back. Sucks for their fans.
But they deserve it. Except that bald striker had a really good season. Hopefully he gets a transfer or loaned out next season.
Even though Watford salvaged the point late against Leicester, I wasn't too impressed with them. Add them to Norwich for teams I want to see relegated. Haven't decided on the third yet.
The Brighton striker tackling the Arsenal goalkeeper!
The victim screaming out in pain like a wounded animal and then yelling at the perp as he's carried off on a stretcher!
Later on, in the fifth and final minute of extra time, the perp scoring the winning goal!
