When she accused Sanders of sexism saying he told her a woman can't get elected. It completely backfired and tanked her poll numbers, as well as burned the bridge she could have had to get the support of Sanders voters if she managed to outlast him.

Bloomberg's best hand is as a moderate. We agree. But democratic voters don't think like you do. They aren't going to want to start off moderate and get more extreme later. They're going to pick the candidate who has the most ideas they like then trust the machine to stop the more outlandish ideas. Bloomberg only has to hit a certain threshold by a certain time to get the never-bernie establishment backing him. He may have to get better selling points at that time; but he doesns't have to be big and bold in the debates; his strategy is to outspend and use conditioning to hit levels. I do think that tonight he took a hit on the NDA's. That helps Mayor Pete because he is the establishment's next choice. Mike may have to come up with a legit excuse as to why these women are silenced; but he may not. In the past, this happened all the time. MeToo is just a convenient tool that the establishment wield when it wants. If the candidates keep hammering him on it though, he'll need something better.
