Late. Then you'll have the possibility of getting a treatment they've yet to discover. At the very least you might get treated with the plasma from those that recovered which can also be an effective treatment.

No joke, my coworker says free range isn’t enough anymore. He buys eggs that have a picture of their “hen of the week” on the side

A new study of the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic suggests that the notion that lives must be sacrificed to save the economy is bullshit.
The cities that that put the most aggressive NPIs in place and kept them in place longer, flattened the caseload and recovered economically more quickly.

Exactly. Philadelphia went to the "beaches" - (that parade) & got murdered.
St. Louis didn't & was fine.
Present day:::
Louisiana partied their asses off at Mardi Gra & now the chickens have come home to roost.
California & Florida are hitting the beaches & getting murdered.
NYC is hitting Central Park for b-ball & Frisbee & getting murdered.
Nobody wants to stay home & nary Governor is willing to send the Law Enforcement/National Guard to make them.

...or, in reality before "lately," long before "lately." We've lost over a million Americans to Regular Flu across the last 2 decades.
