I can only assume that is because you don't understand the term you are using or the website you are quoting. I find that amusing. And satisfying watching you flail when asked to define a basic term.
:lol DMC's smoking gun
Why do you keep omitting your claim that there have been zero excess deaths prior to 2020?

Ignore the fact that NY has more deaths as a state than any of the countries mentioned in the misleading, politically motivated chart.
this is so dumb.
UK: 67m
France: 65m
Germany: 83m
Canada: 37m
Italy: 60m
Total population: 312m
The point of the chart is that it is possible, after an initial wave (NY), for a western country to get this under control. The US has failed to do so.

Because he's a fucking idiot. There's a reason he never had a real conversation here. He's basically Mouse with even less of a social life.
But not NY. Cuomo dithered.
... and none of that is an actual definition of "excess deaths" that even demonstrates you know what you are talking about.

Why can you not explain what the term excess deaths actually means?
Kind of hard to have a discussion with you about my claims, if you have no fucking clue what I am talking about.
smh
Moron.
Re: The Count of Corona...
yet another election tactic, to LIE about cases and deaths
Hospitals ‘scrambling’ to cope with Trump administration’s abrupt change
In a memo sent by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on July 10, hospitals in the United States were ordered to start reporting COVID-19 patient information to a new centralized database :lol
set up by President Donald Trump’s administration. :lol
the requirement is burdensome for hospitals and will have “serious consequences on data integrity.” :lol Loss of integrity is The Point :lol
in July, Trump’s administration “ordered hospitals to send daily reports about virus cases to a central database in Washington — controlled by (Health Secretary Alex) Azar’s department — instead of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Such reports include
information about current patients,
the number of available beds and
ventilators, and
other information vital to tracking the pandemic.
The order raised alarm that the data could :lol be !!!! politicized :lol or
withheld from the public.” :lol

My claim is based on my understanding of the term. Not omitting anything.
The term you can't seem to define. Why is that? Do you not know how they get their data?
Tell me what your working understanding of the term is, and provide a link to where you got it.

No, the point of the chart was to compare unlike things to try to win a forum point to enhance your e-peen status. Too bad it failed.

Sure you omitted it. You clipped only part of your quote and twice omitted the part where you claimed there were never any excess deaths prior to 2020.

You sure are working awfully hard to deflect. Why is that? :lol
I should have known you wouldn't bother. non-serious intellectual lightweight. A wanna-be try-hard, who bails at the first threat to his fee-fees.
Sokay. I read the notes in the website you cited. I know exactly why you are working so hard to deflect. I think at this point you went looking too, and realized your mistake.
Your tiny ego doesn't want to admit... I'm right. There essentially weren't any excess deaths prior to 2020, because of the way the term is defined and used.
COVID is killing way more people than the official tally is capturing. That is inconvenient for your cult, isn't it?

It's convenient for him when it's a few hundred more deaths in South Korea. It is not convenient for him when it's 4000 more deaths in Texas alone. And he's rather kill himself than admit his little South Korea theory applied to the US would mean ~40,000 more COVID deaths.
Re: The Count of Corona...
In three of the last four major pandemics after 1918, the US has underperformed the rest of the world.
Trump isn't to blame for the US racial caste system, economic inequality or oligopolistic health care. Nor is he responsible the national ethos that cares more about aggregate GDP growth than public health and saving lives. The pandemic has exposed these systemic problems, unfortunately Trump's leadersp is making them all worse.
Unfortunately also, voting Trump out of office will do zilch to fix the systemic problems that left us vulnerable to SARS-CoV2.
Quote:
The 1957 H2N2 flu virus caused 1.1 million deaths globally out of a worldwide population of 2.9 billion, or 0.038 percent on a per capita basis; whereas in the United States, it caused about 116,000 deaths out of a U.S. population of 178 million, or 0.065 percent on a per capita basis. The 1968 H3N2 virus resulted in 1 million fatalities worldwide out of a global population of 3.6 billion, or 0.028 percent on a per capita basis; in the United States, there were 100,000 deaths out of a population of 203 million, or 0.049 percent on a per capita basis. The 2009 H1N1 virus caused far fewer overall deaths both globally and within the U.S., with 284,000 fatalities globally and a mere 12,469 fatalities in the U.S.; per capita fatality rates were the same (.004 percent on a per capita basis). But COVID-19 has reflected the reversion to American underperformance: as of August 13, confirmed global fatalities (out of a worldwide population of 7.8 billion) were 749,776, or 0.0096 percent on a per capita basis, versus 169,488 deaths in the United States out of an existing population of 331 million, or 0.051 percent on a per capita basis.

Re: The Count of Corona...
From the discussion @ the link
Quote:
This cohort study found that the absolute increase in deaths over baseline (ie, excess mortality) observed during the peak of 1918 H1N1 influenza pandemic was higher than but comparable to that observed during the first 2 months of the COVID-19 outbreak in New York City.
However, because baseline mortality rates from 2017 to 2019 were less than half that observed from 1914 to 1917 (owing to improvements in hygiene and modern achievements in medicine, public health, and safety), the relative increase during early COVID-19 period was substantially greater than during the peak of the 1918 H1N1 influenza pandemic.
