Well, apparently that authority has been historically recognized by the judiciary. Again, this is ultimately a matter of laws, not feels.

Except that I already pointed out that Martial Law is indeed written in the Constitution, by the forefathers. So I don't particularly think this is an instance where we can say it's just a judicial construct.

However, I would agree that there has been cases of abuse, and that's why I'm not a fan, tbh
