i think theres a complicated layer to the protesting, first with the current covid situation, and second, if it truly is supposed to shake the system into bringing change, it cant just be a pleasant outing that the city doesnt really have to pay attention to. MLK's march from selma to montgomery blocked the use the bridge there. its a difficult balance to strike from being enough of a nuisance to be noticed to being too disruptive to the point of being destructive (blocking emergency vehicles, etc)

There are organized gangs and too many criminals in the USA. They take advantage of the protests.

You cannot blame 90% of the protesters who are peaceful, relatively.

We also cannot lose our 1st ammendment or whatever because of these criminals.

Cities should allow protesters to gather in certain areas and leave them be. And concentrate on any opportunistic criminals in the other areas.

Stupid police instead has most of their units harrasing the peaceful areas :lol
