Nothing to do with the 36 tax hikes, huh?
Convenient.

Nope, nothing to do with that. History has proven that hiking taxes on your oligarch overlords strengthens the economy. That's why Clinton did it in 1993 and Obama let tax cuts expire in 2013.

Re: Democratic National Convention Thread
Biggest economic expansion and prosperity in this country was post-WWII, with taxes way up there, and a debt/GDP ratio north of 50%...

Please, let the derp dig some more, no more facts.
I have family in hysterics with derp digging.
Great entertainment during the “plandemic.”

History proves it as long as we're willing to overlook that little great depression in 37 and 38 and who knows what else. :lol

You clearly don't, otherwise you'd be using them as examples.

I didn't ignore it. I already gave an explanation.
I've provided a lot more than 1 example of economic prosperity immediately following tax increases and economic calamity following tax cuts.
The highest tax rate pre-depression was 25% in 1929. Why did the economy crash if tax rates were so low? Also, why did GDP go up from 1934-1937 even though top tax rate went up to 63%? Wouldn't an increase from 25% to 63% crater the economy?
Do you want me to make another chart to explain it better? I’m always willing to help the less intelligent.

Where did I say anything about the Iraq War in this thread? Pretty sure I said all along that tax cuts and deregulation were the cause of his weak numbers.

Oh, so you think those numbers wouldn't have been no better without the wars, let alone 911?

No, I don’t. I think the wars were stupid for a number of other reasons, but I don’t understand whatever you’re trying to argue here.
