I was the high priest of the CoG. Only team I would root against him for would be SA. Plus I actually find this Lakers team to be pretty likeable or at least interesting. Would be cool to see Howard and lesser Morris get rings.
Re: A rock and a hard place
If Lakers wins it, does it mean that all these years everyone misread the situation, Green is the winner instead of Kawhi?:lmao

Green's arguably the one who did more to beat OKC that year, and that was probably the real Finals. So yeah.
Re: A rock and a hard place
Holy shit, I've never had a jinx thread work before. I was so deep into the effort, I couldn't even watch the last 3 games.
You can all thank me...well except any of you neph sniffers, that is. Also, Pop's mojo prolly had something to do with this. There's just too much evil with neph and that shitty Morris twin on the same floor.
Fuck 'em all.

Jokic's presence makes it hard to defend a player like Murray. Jokic takes a lot out of the defense which it makes hard to focus on Murray. He's a huge reason why Murray had those 50 point games against the Jazz. To me he has a Duncan-Shaq like presence on the offensive end in the sense that the players around him automatically get better.

but by now he would have been gone anyways. it’s time to move on...
I can now move on after seeing this bitch get his ass whooped in embarrassing fashion.

I am now a very happy man.
Petty? Sure. But happy. Goodbye Nephew and Morris....

PG and Kawhi couldnt have stopped one legged Doncic. There was no way their bigs could have do anything to Jokič. And cause their bigs do need help with him that leaves Murray open a lot of the time. Also, Murray was guarded a lot by Beverly who is tbh really not a great defender at all.

Agreed there were a lot of times where Kawhi or PG had to help out on double teams with Jokic which allowed Murray to get open shots or easy layups. Jokic is a player where very few teams have the luxury of having bigs that can guard him without having to double.

I'm the same way. Most satisfying non-spur playoff win ever. Gotta enjoy this after all the bashing the Spurs went through from '17-19 from Kawhi, Uncle dipshit, and media.
Re: A rock and a hard place
Thank the fucking gods that I don't have to root for the Lakers now.

Pop and Jokic do have the Serbian connection so there's that. One thing interesting during the game they mentioned how last summer during team USA that Pop did not ever want to double team Jokic unless Jokic didn't see the double team coming simply because Jokic is too deadly when he's sees an obvious double.

Just bumping my thread and the pathetic display from three or four neph sniffers.
Also, I officially nominate and cede myself for jinx thread of all time on this board. You're all welcome, including the neph suckers. Pathetic effort boys. I'll be over here with the rest of NBA fandom chuckling at your neph suckage.
Re: A rock and a hard place
What the best player in the Planet team just lost after having a 3 to 1 lead. Where are all the KY ass wipers what happened to your boy?
On a side note Doc Rivers only NBA head coach to have EVER lost 3 TIMES a NBA playoff series when leading 3 to 1.
GOT TO LOVE KARMA.

I am really glad for all the Spurs fan that felt this way. It would have been ok for me had it gone differently but I moved on already. It doesn’t matter.:flag: I am glad some fans got closure. That whole team was very unlikeable so I am definitely glad Denver erased them.
Re: A rock and a hard place
That Denver team is really good and i like their roster a lot. A lot of lengthy 3-and-D guys around Jokic and Murray who are pick your poison in the pick & roll. The best you can do on defense is force them to pass the ball, but then Millsap, Grant and Harris will be open for 3. That's very hard to defend and they got big bodies they can throw at SFs like LeBron, Nephew, etc. They might just win it all
