Third parties would have much better shots at pushing their legislative agendas by prioritizing down-ballot races where there are runoff elections and getting people in the legislature, but they don't actually care about any of that because they are really just fronts for the major parties to syphon off a fraction of the opposition's voters in Presidential elections and their supporters never demand otherwise.
