As long as the senate map is as favorable to Republicans as it currently is and as long as the GOP's base is consistently turns out more than the Dem base does, the GOP isn't going anywhere. Texas becoming a blue state is the only way I could see the GOP falling apart in the next 5-10 years, but it won't be a blue state if Democrats don't show up to midterm elections.
They need to put age limits on all of these idiots regardless of branch.
Senate map still favors R's even if there were 4 extra senate seats that were surefire Democrats.

The Democrats only have 15 states that lean 3% or more to the left of the country as a whole, while the Republicans have 26 states that are 3% or more to the right of the country (there are 9 states within 3% of the country as a whole). The Democrats more or less need DINOs like Joe Manchin and Jon Tester in order to control the senate, while Republicans can maintain ideologically purity and just win the states they're supposed to win.
Yeah the only way the Democrats could kill the Republican Party is by stacking the senate to the point where there's enough leverage to force a constitutional amendment that abolishes the electoral college and makes the senate proportionate to population.
i remember the sentiment after bush but... this is entirely different tbh.
if you compare that situation with this time around then go ahead and compare bush and trump too. they're on difference planets.
people are sick of trump in ways they never were with bush.
people are realizing that they should vote and have witnessed how far this country can be pushed. many won't take voting for granted again.
:lmao Weekend at Walter Reed.
COVID funny now
its funny when the guy who didnt take it seriously to the detriment of the country contracts it and spreads it to his inner circle
and i dont want to hear about how his rhetoric doesnt matter because it affects how the broader population perceives the level of risk. you are a good example, for instance
People were right though the Republicans experienced a drastic shift after Bush, they just didn't expect it to be further to the right. The Republicans are always going to have the evangelical vote and they leveraged that with the vote of the idiots. And here we are, that isn't going to change anytime soon. They'll hold on to those blocks and bank on the dems throwing out shitty left candidates
