As I said I have a good friend who honest to God sounds just like you.
He is a good guy, just very frustrated.

The main part of my frustration is I really think we elected a horrible president. I ask my father his sense of things and he said he has never seen anything like it since Nixon and in some ways its much worse. This is a real estate lawyer who makes bucks off of developers and has no interest in seeing a bad economy. When you have not lived through bad times you ask others who are older for a sense of place as people who live in the now seem to think their particular times are always some extreme up or down.

And I gave Trump a chance. I thought the absolutely stupid stuff he did as a businessman would get corrected when he got a bunch of real experts around him and not a bunch of yes men to yield to his whims. I was so dead wrong... I also have an uncle who just retired from the foreign service, he is much more critical than my father. Said Trump had some interesting ways of dealing with allies but the rest... just rubbish. No preparation fly by the seat of his pants stuff.

This president will end up turning me deep blue if he is not axed. There is nothing United about the United States right now.
