not sure whats happening in georgia. the vote totals dont look any different from last night but now the map is showing that Fulton County (atlanta) has 98+ reporting

what about the East Atlanta county? Fulton is more moderate, but the one just east of it is like 90% black.

Democrats need to get Trump to turn on the GOP somehow so his supporters who didn’t vote before 2016 stop voting once Trump’s name is off the ballot. If they can’t do that I don’t see how they win elections against a guy like Josh Hawley (whos basically Tom Cotton only a lot more palatable to suburban women).

Dream scenario for the dems. Won the Presidency but didn't get the house. Nothing has to be passed.

from what i understand most of the votes to be counted are still from Wayne, so that is looking tentatively safe for biden

peters is still down 35k votes or so. remains to be seen if that will be made up in wayne

no, I think places like northeast Ohio are gone for the Dems regardless of Trump or not Trump, and demographic shifts in MI and WI will continue to favor the GOP even if Biden pulls them both narrowly today. The good news for the Dems is that demographic shifts will make Texas a toss up by end of this decade.

You have to hold a primary. The GOP held a primary against Trump but the only people to run were hacks.
