Whats the difference? Where is this data?
You’re talking as if any candidate would have won Arizona regardless.

Not really. It takes more than one thing to flip a state blue. Biden being a good candidate was one of them, but he loses the state without all the work LUCHA and other grassroots groups did in AZ to turn out Hispanics. The below article goes into further detail, specifically it mentions the 37,000 additional hispanic voters turning out over a set of precincts vs 2016.
I take the under on those 37k votes turning out having nothing to do with LUCHA but instead because of an endorsement Biden got from a pill popping oligarch whos only famous because she married a war hero/US senator.

its not all or nothing, of course, but AZ's love for McCain probably played some role in Trump's unpopularity

Re: The official "Tick Tock" thread.
Just like Stacey Abrams in Florida, the effort to get Hispanics registered and voting in az was a 10 year effort that started back when SB1070 was passed and when Arpaio was treating Hispanics more or less the same way Hitler treated Jews.
In 10 years Arizona has gone from a state known for its crazy right wing legislation (ie a bill that would have allowed open carry on college campuses that the governor thankfully vetoed) to a state with two Dem Senators. That didn’t happen just because of Manhands McSally, Cindy OxyContin McCain and Biden running to win the center. It was a 10 year effort to get the hispanic community active that made it all possible.
Same thing with Nevada - Harry Reid, notwithstanding how much of a dickless majority leader he was, drove large efforts for Dem investment in the state that made permanent inroads.
This is in contrast with North Carolina. Despite having demographic shifts that should be as favorable as GA and AZ are, it didn’t flip blue because there’s no parallel organization like FairFight or LUCHA in the state. We shouldn’t even need these organizations to begin with, they’re doing work the Democratic Party should be doing itself.

Agreed, but I think the media is overcovering OxyContin McCain’s endorsement while undercoving the grassroots organizations in AZ as part of its usual agenda to focus on how “popular” centrism is while downplaying the role progressive enthusiasm played in Biden winning. If Biden got the same turnout from young voters and minority voters that Hillary got, he’d have been slaughtered by Trump even with all the “Lincoln voters”.

But Biden did underperformed. With Latinos and even African Americans.
I saw some exit polls that showed he got 86% of the black vote. That’s insane.
Biden though made it up with white support. Trump had a collapsed among white men.

Going off exit polling which isnt perfect but not sure what else there is to use, Biden got ~63% of the hispanic vote in AZ vs Hillary getting 61% four years ago. The hispanic vote also made up 19% of the vote in AZ vs 15% in 2016. It was a bigger chunk of the vote and Biden got more of it. Those are the numbers.
Biden underperformed with Latinos in Florida and the RGV, but in Arizona he outperformed. Even though people called Biden a racist for this he was right by saying the hispanic vote isn’t a monolith the way the black vote is. Hispanic voters in Florida care about much different spectrum of issues than Hispanics in AZ do his message of a 15.00 minimum wage and economic populism did well in Arizona.

You might be right. I had a look at the overall nationwide race a week or so ago. I would assume that number would have come up some since the last time I saw it.
Also not sure how they’re doing exit pollings this time since there was so many ways of voting this cycle.

Combo of phone surveys with mail in voters together with exit polling of in person voters. Arizona has been majority mail in voting for the last several election cycles tho so it’s not like the methodology changed this year vs 2016.

this one will probably end up before SCOTUS, its why they segregated those votes. either way the <10k votes there arent going to swing shit. theres a near 60k vote margin there right now

Re: The official "Tick Tock" thread.
"This Court also reads Mr. Colbeck's affidavit in light of his pre-election day Facebook posts. In a post before the November 3, 2020 election, Mr. Colbeck stated on Facebook that the Democrats were using COVID as a cover for Election Day fraud. His predilection to believe fraud was occurring undermines his credibility as a witness."
Listen here, Jack. If you're going to sign affidavits claiming fraud, make sure you don't come across as a biased witness...

I’m not even sure if SCOTUS sides with Trump either. Roberts is definitely siding with the liberals on this and Kavanaugh might join him.

All the winning trump promised.
Guess that is confusing derp and crew and causing their coping issues.
