I believe things fall when you drop them. I believe they don't if you are in zero gravity.

Why do I believe this?

I understood the concept before I knew the word "gravity". The evidence that this force exists, even if I didn't associate it with a force, was undeniable so my belief was compelled by overwhelming, always present physical evidence. I couldn't "not believe". I didn't choose to believe gravity exists. Therefore I didn't base anything on anything else. Even if my belief is based on something, it doesn't mean I based it on something. I covered this already. Just because your garden grows doesn't mean you grew it.
