Spurs were playing kinda wildly, out of control, bad pacing, looked kinda spooked by the intensity the Kings (WTF?) were throwing at them.
Manu needs to harness his emotions, no wild abandon, and play with killer-cool intensity.
He's going to need it if the Spurs continue their season-long, flat-out refusal to hustle the boards.
I've been hearing a lot of whining here that Spurs aren't hustling the boards. Truth be told, the Kings are doing a good job boxing out and taking up space in the paint, and hey...there's only so much room there lol.
Last game we scored 50 points in the paint, probably a record that has eluded the stat geeks; under the radar type of play. Welcome to Sacramento land.
There's NOTHING the Kings are doing that the Spurs can't do, also.
Manu's line for game 4:
52 pts (career high)
12 rebs
14 ast
0 TO
10 blocks
Spurs win by 48, with Manu nailing clutch shots all night like Kobe.
I call it the Royal Quadruple Double.
:lol :lol :lolQuote:

I say he will have a big game but not that big
P.S.
How can he hit clutch shots with the spurs up 48 :spin
Manu for president.

All I'm hoping for is no turnovers
Even with the terrible job Kings did rebounding in game 1, we are dead even on boards, DEAD EVEN! Last two games we beat you by 10. I'm liking our chances if you continue to play small.Quote:

I can foresee manu is going to take less shots than friday, that´s for sure. He is going to try to assist more and play with tim and tony. So he will have maybe 10 or 12 points and 8 or 9 asist.
Remember this :rolleyes
I hope so.
It's time to go apeshit on those mofo's
I want a w I want manu not to force things but attack he usually never presses lets hope he does not
I also think parker will play better he publically said this last loss was not just on manu
I think he knows he needs to play better also
game 4 against the sonics last season:
Manu Ginobili, SG only 15 points and 3 turnovers. only shot 10 times. i remember thinking he had a bad game. 15 pts was horrible for him last year in the playoffs
Spurs lose by 12
game 5:Ginobili-39 points. one turnover. Total motivated domination.
Spurs win by 13
When he gets motivated and mad over his poor play and defeat, he goes insane. Look for it tonight after the worst game of his career.
I think he`ll have around 25 pts, 7 rb, 6 ast
In Express News Parker was quoted as saying after the game, Manu was the most upset he has ever seen him, apparently yelling at himself in Spanish.
Manu will be a man posessed tonite and recover from his worst EVER game.
Funny people seem to be more concerned about Manu having good stats than the Spurs winning.
I'll take a solid, nonspectacular game with turnovers minimized. That's what the Spurs need to win.
Because we need Manu (as well as Parker, Td) to be sharp for this title run. We need him to bounce back quickly.Quote:

i think artest is gonna guard him and hes gonna have 8 points and 7 turnovers.
I agree as respects the points, but i dont think manu is going to have more turnovers than friday just because he is not going to force the plays.Quote:

It's that Player effect, you feel guilty, but it's really understandable after being wowwed in 2005.. Manu's one of those player favorites, along with Tim, and Tony, and we're glad we have them on the Spurs.Quote:

Tim's the franchise guy, but Manu is a special player that you really want to see deliver a great game.
it doesn't hurt to get some bonuses from Manu and Tony. Spurs are in the Bonus whenever Manu, Tim or Tony have 30 + Games because it's off of self-determination, one-for all and all for-one attacking, so it's not really stat padding.
I know it's seems a bit like favoring individual glory over the team, with the Player of The Games: But it's kind of like being loud and proud, and saying, "you wish he played for your team" to the opposition.
All I know is I can never remember Manu beating himself up like that after a loss, and I am looking forward to seeing how that translates to how he plays on the court tonight :tu
i expect Manu to come out like a man possessed.
I'm pretty sure he's gonna try to make hustle plays and get his teammates shots. I don't know about him getting a lot of points, but you never know. we'll have to wait and see.
Manu was so pissed at himself, this guy is one of a kind. After reading the articles and how he took it, this guy has 110 % passion for the sport and winning.
I didn't read that people preferred better stats than a W. It seems that people were implying the Spurs win tonight BECAUSE he ends up with good stats.Quote:

Smooth, efficient play. Aggressive and Dominant. Game 4 Win.
I just hope Manu plays a solid, efficient game with solid defense mixed in. I don't expect him to explode.
Manu will have the flollowing line:
23 pts(4 from downtown)
7 rebs
8 assists
1 turnover
Did Manu fly back to San Antonio? This guy is a poser.
Manu still MIA. :depressed
--timvp
:lol
Ginobili won't even dribble with Artest on him. :(
He's terrified...
Now the Spurs know what its like when Bowen turns opposition swingmen into little bitches. This is similar.
Come on Manu, you are better than this.
If the Spurs don't get their shit together this quarter, Manu's fuck up is looking worse by the minute.
Wow, was I ever wrong.Quote:
