Diop and Dampier>>>Brad Miller on defense. Duncan won't be double teamed.
clearly better on defense???...i dont think soQuote:

And to think you aren't going to have the same problem with the Mavs that you are with the Kings is absurd. True you haven't had a to play a game with a healthy Griffin and Stack in the lineup, but common didn't you at least watch one damn game against the Grizzlies? Griffin, Howard, and Stack were doing the same damn thing to the Grizz that the Kings are doing to you and the Grizz are younger and more athletic!
Griff is averaging 5 boards on %56 shooting in the playoffs, 3 offensive 2 defensive. In 25 minutes of playing time
Howard is averaging 6.3 rebounds this season 2.1 offensive, his numbers would be even better in the PO's if not for foul trouble in the last couple of games.
Oh and to say he's not a low post threat is ludicrous, he's averaging nearly 16 points per game %60 of those points come from the paint.
Lets not forget that these swingmen are getting huge offensive rebound numbers on one of the best shooting teams in the league. Let us also not forget that the Spurs don't have one person on thier front court who comes close to either Howard or Griffin in rebounding..............
The fact remains that the Mavs match up better with the Kings, that's why we beat them down.
I think that's the key for Dallas. They no longer have to double team Duncan in the post. Between Damp and Diop, Dallas has size, strength, length and 12 fouls to give. Damp and Diop have done a pretty good job of containing Duncan in the post all season long. I don't see that changing in the playoffs. With that being said, Dallas can guard the perimeter much better. When teams have to double team Duncan, that's when they have difficulty beating the Spurs. Look at what Sacto is doing right now. They're basically playing Duncan one on one. Dallas will do the same.Quote:

Yes I agree, I guess that's what he meant by PF type player, but one could argue that some power forwards no longer play that way IE Dirk Nowitzki, Chris Bosh, Amare Stoudamire. Some could argue that being able to drive to the hole and create are more important than a traditional back to the basket player.Quote:

So strange these guys developed a low post game, how often can they realistically use it?
I know I'm rooting for Dallas over SA because the Spurs are the better team and LA would wax Dallas for all they are worth and head to the Finals.
The lakers will get beat by their own city. :lolQuote:

Oh and the Lakers would wax us? That's great too!! You guys need to worry about Phoenix, I know you won't believe me when I tell you this, but that series is far from fucking over. Eliminating Marion and Nash will not be easy, trust me LA/Phoenix is going 7. Oh and prepare to get slaughtered tonight.

Bonzi is not big enough to be a power forward. Just crowd the paint and he will struggle.
in the dallas series we will be going up againts a better coach in AJ remember when we have faced better coaches like phil jackson we have lost some games
""Bonzi is not big enough to be a power forward""
yes but, he to good and effective playing like a pf against ours sgs/sfs.
