....not that we lost.
We can't win every year.
But I hate not REPEATING!!
It's the only thing that has eluded us.

amigo, i couldn't agree with you more.
Amen to that. We all share your pain!!
Magic and Kareem only did it once.
Bird, Mchale, Ainge, Parish never did it.
The greatest pain is to lose to Mavs. I have no problem in losing to Piston as SPURS and Pistons are great and classy team.
kinda random & off topic, but i like your avatar thingy :)Quote:

Wanting them to win every year and what is actually possible are 2 different things.

The greatest pain is losing to Cuban's team. I hope he gets gang raped by Gorillas so his ass can't watch the rest of the playoffs.Quote:

And the Pistons. Make it 6 if you count the Minneapolis Lakers, but I'm pretty sure that's it.
I know..we feel so defeated...
Think about it this way...Lakers couldn't do it, because they had to play against great teamss in the 80's..
They finally did it in 87,88... Spurs 07, 08??? 5 RINGS??? WE MUST. WE WILL.
The worst part is fighting back from down 20 and then taking the lead late in the game and having the game in our hands.
the worst thing is watching cuban celebrating after all the things he said...
This series probably aged me by about six years. It was a great series but probably the worst feeling I've had in quite a long time. Sucks when you're at the wrong end of a classic.
Two things:
1. Fighting all the way back from 3-1 and then in this game from 20 down and have the game in our hands only to lose it.
2. Losing to Mark Cuban and Jason Terry after the shit they pulled.
yeah it makes me wonder about the existence of God, or Karma--or whatever...Quote:

Does anyone think Van Exel brought in bad mojo??? Ringchaser? Finley got cut from his team and chose to play for us over Miami because he liked our classy org and is a humble player to help out... But Van Exel is an old fart....
dudes.. suck it up.
other teams HAVE NEVER EVER WON A CHAMPIONSHIP before.
WE DID.. 3 TIMES.
and we still have a solid shot at it next year. :) thats something to feel good about right?
just a bump on the road :)
no matter how bad we all feel.. lets just imagine what the players are feeling. man that sure is more worse than us.
Yea, the next worse thing is losing to Cuban.
Ugh!
I would have rather lost in 5 than lost in 7 the way we did. Coming back from 3-1 means shit without winning the series.
Tim Duncan was playing brilliant.......but fuck...we didn't have luck.....that Cubans fuckers won.....
BUt thats life...Spurs are still the best team ever......
Go spurs Go
