Absolutely i wll laugh my ass off, Cuban is talking trash about the monkey off there backs that is SA well not if you do not win the title it isn't. They have got to win the whole damn thing or else it means nothing, especially if we come right back and beat them next year in the playoffs. The Rockets lost two Finals series (to the Celts) before they won any titles, and obviously the Spurs have won all three trips they made to the last round.

So no, I want them to beat Phoenix.

It would warm my cold, black heart to know that the Spurs have never lost a Finals series and beat a Pistons team the year that knocked out Dallas in convincing fashion in the '06 Finals. Then Dallas can go fifteen years between their initial Finals appearance and their long-anticipated victory in 2021 just like the Rockets. By then I'll be way out of the Metroplex and out of harms way.

i would laugh at cuban for "getting the monkey" off their backs only to lose in the cf's, but not at the mav players.

The War will never be over. But the next battle will go to the Spurs.

That said, I want the Mavs to go all the way this year. I can't stand the thought of losing to losers.

Other reasons: Don't want Detroit or Shaq to get any more Championships. Mavs are more of a threat to those two teams than the Suns.

I could see Phoenix beating them actually. Phoenix is better at playing small ball than the Spurs are. No one on Dallas is going to take it to the Suns in the post. The matchups are pretty favorable for the Suns.

Well, I do have issues, I'll give you that. Either way they still beat us, and they were better than us this year, so laughing at them for losing will be like laughing at ourselves, only worse. But as I have said many times, I really don't care who wins from here on out, first choice would be for the Pistons to win it all, only because I believe that serves the Spurs interests best.
