Re: Cuban corollary: NBA to regulate owners' behavior
I hate stern, but i hate cuban more. Cuban may indeed have more genuine love for the game than stern, but that doesnt mean he is allowed to throw tantrums all over the court and other restricted areas, and it sure as hell doesnt mean he can influence league rules, as there is a pretty big conflict of interest
If cuban wants to sit courtside, no problem. If he wants to cheer, curse, like any other fan, no problem. But get out of the huddles and off the court damn it!
ps: that goes to jack nicholson too!

I'm not really a fan of Cuban either, he's a jackass, but I feel like he works to make small improvements in the game such as keeping the refs accountable. Stern makes adjustments to improve the game from his business standpoint, as in more get more points on the board, but that's what the commish in every sports league tries to do so I don't see that as anything that's unexpected or great.
Stern, with his no more defense rules, has actively worked against the Spurs interests as a defense first team. I find it weird that anyone would come out and support Stern given that. And to say its a big business and its all about money doesn't seem to say anything other than the obvious, of course its a big business and Stern's in charge of it. But do you agree with what he's doing is my question.
Just FYI, David Stern can't change the rules.

Good, now maybe Cuban will say F.U. whenever he's asked to do something for the NBA...and maybe he'll stay away from the huddles during Mavs games!!! Win-win for me, stern can go fuck himself. Also, yeah Cuban sells tix, he's better at it than most orgs...sooooo many tix left for the Mavs/Spurs matchup on Nov. 24 in SA, guess Spurs fans don't believe as much I thought they did or maybe they just have shitty marketing. Good for me though, I bought tons of them, some for myself, some for other Mavs fans.

:lmao You really have swallowed Mark's, er, Koolaid.
Yeah, the NBA depends on Cuban like the NFL depends on T.O.
If Mark Cuban disappeared from the face of the earth tomorrow, the NBA wouldn't miss a beat. And Mav World might actually stop acting like pussies.
