Yes people, welcome back to another season of NBA basketball!
I'm sure you all missed me the entire summer.
Lakers are a PG away to be a contender.
:lol @ Thread Title
After last year's playoffs and what Stern got away with, who could doubt that this is the Lakers' year? Kobe will average 30 points a game on foul shots alone.
hilarious thread, original op should just leave with his head between his legs, he got spanked so hard by the homeboys
I agree, the Lakers look as good as they ever have, and I include the Jabbar, Worthy and Magic glory days, through the Shaq and Kobe 3 peat teams.
This team is scary good, and I am so depressed about it.
The Bulls mark of 72 victories is going to be in serious jeapordy this season. You heard it her first.

:wakeup For crying out loud it's only 1 game and yet some people are already yapping out how dominant the Lakers will be this season. This hype is only equalled years ago when the Lakers signed Malone and Payton and everybody conceded the title to Los Angeles. Sure they beat our Spurs team and they got past the Twolves. But did they win the title? No. Detroit practically handed L.A. their collective asses. The 1 reason why I think L.A. dominated Phoenix is the fact they wanted to get back at the Suns for climbing out of a 3 - 1 hole and eliminating them in last year's playoffs. So don't count your chickens the eggs haven't even been laid yet. :wakeupQuote:

I think the colloquial term for the Lakers' system is "jelqing".

Ok, the lakers win the first game and the spurs win the last game of the season.
Along with this perfect season, Kobe will average 38 assists a game, making Nash look like Stephon Marbury.
You know, the Lakers won their second game. Ronny Turiaf was the high man with 23 points and 9 rebounds in 31 minutes. :)
hmmmm DISCUSS :dizzy :hungry: :downspin:Quote:
