It's a shame about your horse coming in last, Mavs.
A perfect, unblemished record, 0-2 including a loss by over 30 points to the Rockets.

Come on now- let's not beat a dead last horse. :lol
They're the only team in texas without a win this season :lmao
wow, that's 1 game already for the Rockets in the Texas Shootout.
Gas Money to Huston $50.00
Hot Dogs and Beer $20.00
Game Tickets $150.00
Seeing the Mavs lose by 30 and the look on Cuban's Face........Priceless!

Warriors @ Mavs tonight.
Maybe no Mavs horse laffs tonight either, because Mavs were 1 - 3 vs Warriors last season, including losing both games @DAL.
Avery going for 7 straight Ls?
I'd rather win the last two games of the season than the first two.
Celebrating the Mavericks demise is a bit premature. Kind of reminds me of folks calling the second round series 'over' last year after we won game six.
The Mavs are too talented to have this losing streak last and I don't like putting the reverse hex on a rival.

It's a long season and all teams go through ups and downs. Hell, it's not like the Spurs are sitting here 3-0 and are kings of the B2B games. We've got our achilles heel.
they shit kick warriors tonight
Problem is, of course, is that none of them are around, and none of them will be around until the Mavs go on a winning streak and/or the Spurs go on a losing one.Quote:

lets hope for a spurs win come nov.
BTW, if anyone wanted to know that state of seriousness and concern amongst Mavs players, it's been two games and they've already called the overrated "players-only" meeting.
You know that's the forum where everyone clears the air, assigns blame, takes responsibility and vows a renewed commitment. Wonder what they will do if they lose to the Warriors tonight.
Before anyone starts thinking this will be an easy game for the Mavs to win, be advised that the Warriors were the only that was undefeated (3-0) against the Mavs last season.

As I said in my post above, Mavs were 1-3 vs GSW last season.
I stand corrected.Quote:

I think that the players only meetings only help when the players talking have a lot of good character, like our Spurs. Good character is why people take ownership of their mistakes in the losses and change their actions consistent with that admission. Good character contributes to unselfish play, hard work, good team defense and good cohesion on a team. Good character rises up when obstacles come.Quote:

Probably, they make the playoffs. However, everyone now knows what they do well and is looking out for them. It is harder to stay at or near the top, than it is to get there in the first place. The talent on their roster, is in my opinion, better on paper than last year. But, the last couple of points combined with the fact that they are a team lacking in good character, means, I predict, that they take a step back this year in the sense that this year is not as successful for them as last year, probably by regular season wins and almost certainly by playoff wins.
Mavs will win, because as we all know Nelson can't win shit in Dallas.
I doubt ANYONE is celebrating a Mav demise. Just poking fun and rubbing it in a little. nothing wrong w/thatQuote:

Poor A.J.- gets ejected and his team loses on their all important banner hanging night.

Okay I have to stop being mean about the Mavs. I don't want bad karma.
Mavs suck.
guess the jinx didn't work. mavs you fucking losers you are embarrasing the mighty state of Texas...
Oden has already said he will be back to Ohio St. next year as a result of his wrist injury and he wants an NCAA championship with his friend Conley. So I guess they must be playing for Dirk's replacement.
oden is goin to go undrafted and sign with us :D

oh shit, i guess we better call it in for the season, no sense in playing 78 more games because guys (OLD and young alike) won't feel any different in game 2 than in game 82 of the season, fatigue won't set in for some teams, t-mac's back is back and good to go 82 straight, injuries will not happen and the mavericks will never gel even though they made minor changes to their lineup and kept the core togetherQuote:

Woa, woa, woa, lets leave the Cowboys out of this one alright. But seriously, fuck the Mavs

I believe that 90M+ not only includes TAW and Fin, but also Evan Eschmeyer, Shawn Bradley, Pavel and maybe some others. Their actual players that play salary is very reasonable.Quote:

"Dammit, Jones, the salary line for XYZ, Inc., is $92 million a year!"
"Mr. Cuban, that's not exactly fair. Only $60 million of that is for salaries of people who actually work for us."
"Well, why didn't you say so, man? That sheds a different light on things. Good work, Jones!"
I'm not trying to make them look better, just correct some facts (something spur fans are allergic to) that the douche bag left out of the post. Get a brain pleeeassseeeeee!Quote:

this is bad news for us Dallas. Utah remain unbeaten @ 4-0 and
surprise, surprise -> Hornets Ok/NO 4-0
Yao /Tmac are healthy.
Gasol might come back sooner.
Amare might find his old self again.
whoa, more teams will be fighting for that 8 playoff spots come April, 07.
but i think Dallas will still be on it if they regroup. i just don't know how.
i love all the overreacting in here. jealous of last year's 2nd round exit :lol

Yup, they are in the same place that Detroit was last year at this time.
This points out the difference between our teams.
You feel vindicated after a sluggish start by getting a good regular season record.
And teams without much defense can win a lot of gains in the regular season.
Pistons lost last year in the playoffs because their defense had slipped.
They weren't a horrible defensive team, just an average one, kind of like the Mavericks are now.
Suns also had a great record a few years back. They had homecourt advantage all the way through the playoffs.
Of course, we all remember how that turned out.
Now, since the all star break up until the Mavs game - Spurs went 25-3 or so. That's pretty good.
We were beating you until Crawford wrongly tossed Duncan for laughing (and Stern's actions show that Crawford should not have tossed Duncan).
After that, there was no point in trying to win since we couldn't get homecourt so we rested our starters.
Still it is funny how you can't figure out that it is all about the trophy.
Most sensible Spurs fans realized that it was a fluke, and that Dallas would eventually get back up on their feet...we just didn't anticipate the extremes to which they would come backQuote:

Don't worry mavs. I talked to the other officials and we are going to make some big bets in Vegas. We will bet on you winning. We already made a bunch on that one game.
