so what? anyone can look good in garbage time
you could not
but I drink 5 days a week so it don't count
Say what? Are you serious?
He has 5 TURNOVERS!!!
so does chris paul
He's slow and he can't get a damn defensive rebound. Everyone keeps jumping over him.
Maybe we can get CP3 for Butler?Quote:

In fairness to Butler on those defensive rebounds, he had two Hornets all over his back both times and no call. Its garbage time but if thats the second quarter those are called.
You can tell he passes well for a big man and he moves well for a man as big as he is.
He still does not merit significant minutes.
Agreed, besides, the Spurs need a future center to hang their hat on. Especially if Mahinmi is going to be a PF.Quote:

That's an error on the stat sheet.Quote:

Butler has raw potential. Let's just hope he isn't the Spurs' Mbenga.
thank you for opening a thread on JButler AggieHoopsfan, I am really curious if there's some progress on his play since the start of the camp...
the man in the middle can really be the integral part of our quest for another title this yr esp now that Yao Ming just awaken from deep slumber this season
That man won't be Butler.Quote:

that man will be duncan
Where's the James White thread?
We could also do for an Ian Mahinmi thread.
duncan leads the team. true.. but if he'll be in foul trouble covering Yao, he'll sit and we're through :ihit-> Bad news is-Elson is sometimes foul prone too:lolQuote:

You answered your own question.
Jackie looks like Kimbo Slice with those mutton chops
At least he LOOKS intimidating.
So this guy produced for the Knicks last season?
I see he had two rebounds in 4 minutes last night, that's not awful rebounding really.
PS has he ever show those oft advertised low post moves off in Garbage time, i didnt see any last night.
As hard as it is to believe, yes. I was a big fan of the signing this summer, but now I don't know. All I can say is I hope this is the process of stripping him down and building him back up, or else that contract will be expiring and he'll still be mired on the bench.Quote:

Only thing I see in him is good FT shooting
I wasn't too impressed by him at all..he looked slow and unwilling to get good position for boards....if he was being fouled and no called, i missed that, but he looked like a plodding slow big man to me.
