Hopefully they do a better job of updating the schedule than they have so far.

Elitist.
I so knew that was coming.
BTW, January looks like a great month for Spurs fans with HDTVs. There will be anywhere form 9-11 games in HD that month. The 2 game difference depends on whether or not they show the NBATV HD games.
So all these games will be on FSN? i dont think the sixers game will be on fsn.Quote:

what cable provider do you guys have? I don't think Grande carries fox sports on their hi def tier :( Looks like i get the pleasure of watching the wonderful analog quality of fox sports on my hdtv
Does Time warner have FSN HD?
I've never seen it.
Link please?
TWC Austin has FSN HD, it's in the HD extras package which is like $5/month. TWC San Antonio has it too, on channel 150.
In Austin, they almost never show anything on the programming guide for FSNHD. I just check that channel when Spurs games are on FSN and sometimes it's there in HD and sometimes it's not. Seems like it's not well managed at all.
Holy crap HD? Thank God. FSN makes me feel like it's 1990.
Yeah it is very rare to get a game on FSN HD. Sometimes you get a college football game or Spurs game once a week.Quote:

This looks horrible. Kinda like a widescreen 480i picture
Actually it is pretty horrible. The only difference between Ch.150 and ch. 26 is that 150 is widescreen.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Manny!!
At least i get to see a few extra inches of the picture. Way to go FSN! Good work!
Yeah, the picture quality was really dissapointing when I turned it on. Super grainy. I think you nailed it above when you said that its simply 480i quality in a 16:9 format. Shitty. Still better than the regular FSN, but not really HD persay.
Elitists.
yeah I watched last night's Philly game on the FSN HD channel here in Austin on TWC (which again was not on the program guide).
The quality was not good, I'd agree it was approximately 480 type quality. I can only surmise that they had a bad sat link somewhere, or they just did not want to pay for the bandwidth to go to full 720p (which is what Fox broadcasts in, not 1080i), or they did not actually get their HD equipment onsite so they fudged it by cropping the 4x3 SD picture down to 16x9 and upconverting it to 720p in the studio. Who knows. I suspect the latter because I noticed their pregame comments from the AT&T center were broadcast in SD. Another possibility is that they really were picking it up in HD from the site but some bozo back in the studio failed to flip a switch and open up the path. You laugh but it happens.
Like I said Fox Sports HD is very hit-or-miss. Does not seem like a priority for them to get content in HD.
:td Nice of Fox to uprez a standard definition signal and call it HD. Lame.
Tonight's game is better quality :tu
it is better...however not even close to ESPN or TNT qualityQuote:
